I have taken Tirzepatide, 15mg/week, for the past couple of years.

Recently I switched to Reta. I've been taking 1mg/daily, for the past month (R10).

I do not feel the intense fullness feelings that I felt with the Tirzepatide.

Nor have I lost any weight. Currently at 220lbs. 5'11"

I'm worried with Reta about the arrhythmias if I increased to a higher dose.

Thoughts?

Why did you switch? If Tirz worked that well for you, I recommend going back. If it’s not working at 15mg, go up to 17.5mg. Also, were you taking Tirz every 7 days or every 5 days? It has a shorter half life than Semaglutide and Retatrutide. Maybe you can go back to 15mg every 5 days?

Would really like to get below 200lbs. I haven't been that weight in 30 years.

My weight had plateaued at 220lbs on Tirz, 15mg/weekly.

Good suggestion regarding Tirz, 15mg, every five days.

Reta doesn’t have as strong of an appetite suppression as Tirz. Also hard to compare when you are basically at the weakest dose possible versus the top end of Tirz. Therapeutic dose of Reta is 8-12mg.

Regarding upping the dose of tirz: Isn't 15 mg every five days equivalent to 21 mg weekly?

To up from 15 mg/week, I would try 17.5 mg weekly. Then the following week go to 20 mg/week if needed. (Or go back to 15 mg but every five days, equivalent to 21 mg weekly.)

OTOH, at the higher doses, I assume jumping more than 2.5 mg/week is not as big a deal.

I almost missed he, he said 1 mg daily.

That seems to put his steady-state level within the range that you would get from 8 mg weekly.

Of course, low dose may still be the problem!

I've been keeping it under 8mg for the week.

I don't seem to observe anyone else going over 8mg for Reta? Even though the trials obviously have.

Assuming because of side effects.

Even the max dosing sold by the vendors here have a max of 30mg/month (R30).

I’ve worked my way up to 10mg/week. No side effects for me. Just went up 2mg/month. I’ve seen a few vendors offer R60 now but R30 is definitely more common. Just because a vendor sells an R30 kit doesn’t mean it should last a month. It could last longer or shorter depending on what dose you are taking.
