You could be unknowingly eating at maintenance, as most people underestimate how much they are truly taking in unless they meticulously track their intake or eat the same things most days.

But, if that's not the case for you and you are eating very little over a long period of time then upping your calories for a few days before going back to whatever you were doing seems to take your body out of whatever state it was in and allow for the fat loss to continue.

I've eaten at an extreme deficit for a year now and working in a cheat day or two a month does the trick for me.

yea i have a long history of eating too little but i usually ate when my body told me to eat. I didnt have this issue when I started Tirz so I assumed maybe it just stopped working or something was wrong with me. Ill try to eat a bit more this week and track it!

You could do a shot of Mazdutide, I did .75 and lost 4 lbs after a plateau onTirz. It must be the glucagon component. It did give me nausea so I lowered my dose to .5 nausea went away and was feeling great from the energy boost and additional 1lb loss, unfortunately heart rate increased at 3 rd dose so I discontinued and am back to Tirz only.

How much did your HR increase was it resting HR or active/working out HR?

I want to say about 2-5 resting, it was a feeling that I did not like, it was much more erratic, and in the 70s vs 60s.

I managed to work in a cheat day everyday since mid December. I feel a great sense of accomplishment. 🫃

I don't know how popular this opinion is around here, however, given my experience with how diets work:

if you're not losing weight with intuitive eating, you should start rigorously tracking your calories until you do. Tirz makes it easier to stay on a caloric budget, but it's not going to make you lose weight on a surplus.

100%. There are a million things that influence calories in vs. calories out, but the first law of thermodynamics cannot be broken - energy must be conserved.

GLP-1s help with reducing your calories in and some have varying impact on calories out, but you can still overcome either effect with enough food.

This. Each time I’ve felt like I was in a stall, I tracked my calories to the morsel and realized that when I was eating, I was choosing high calorie foods. Tirz reduces food noise and appetite, but it doesn’t make your brain choose mustard over mayonnaise, Splenda over sugar, olive oil spray over 4 pats of butter, a turkey sandwich over a cheeseburger…

agree. just get an app that has every food and restaurant item already counted for you and it's pretty easy. tracking can be annoying but it will work.

care to share how tall you are? I think you should expect the last 20 pounds to be pretty difficult. your metabolism has slowed, you need fewer calories than you did at 220. seems like a lot of people level off a little bit above their ideal weight. you'll probably have to work hard for these 20 pounds, i don't know why it works like that but it seems to.

additionally i'm currently on 12.5 and in a stall. i think there may be natural points in the timeline where your body pauses to adjust. it might not be related to the 12.5, but just coincidence that your body hit this pause at 12.5.

have you noticed any changes in your physique while on the stall? i often notice my body changes, my belt gets looser, etc. in the times when my weight is steady, and vice versa.

i'd say make sure your calories are good calories - protein, vegetables, fiber. track your calories and target a 500cal deficit. don't be afraid of going to 15mg if needed. make sure you are drinking a ton of liquid/electrolytes so your body won't hang on to it. exercise a couple times a week. pick up some heavy things. and the weight will eventually work
