If you'd never buy from a vendor if there's any scandals in their first year, that'd make JEEP eligible sometime August next year the earliest if all goes well.

Oh, I assume MOST of them will have scandals in the first year, and that all of them will have scandals at some point; I'm watching to see how they handle a scandal.

My preferred checklist is open more than one year and generally well-regarded, USA warehouse, no serious scandals in the past six months, good track record of making people whole when there's a problem, no fighting with customers in a public setting, and all past scandals have been handled reasonably well.
