I stuck with insulin syringes for the longest time and truthfully there is nothing wrong with them in the slightest. If your happy with them and don't want to bother like I didn't with pens than I recommend easy touch. More than easy touch what I really recommend is a Sam's Club. They have to let you to the pharmacy without a membership and most of the pharmacist staff will let you slide on buying the needles without a membership, but also a membership is $15 these days so it's whatever. Sam's club member mark brand syringes when you open the bag are easy touch syringes. This isn't a guess or a trust me bro I mean the syringes will say easy touch on them. Anyways this is the cheapest way I know to get easy touch syringes & if they work for you one or two boxes should be more than enough for years less you pin multiples a week and in that case a good and cheap option is all the more important.

I like many made this a hobby and finally decided I want to try a pen. I wanted an auto pen really a gansulin but then I found out about the convipen which is teal instead of green, but 99% the same thing and got those. And I'll admit I am converted. What I like is the needle is clearly going to be sharper because it's not dulled by entering a vial first. A minor difference, likely placebo more than anything, but 🤷. Second and a big one there is mass in the pen and while I could be a little slow and hesitant and really drawing out the process with a syringe the pen is a lot easier to commit and to pierce skin and bottom out. Plus in one press all the medicine is sent automatically. I imagine a non automatic pen with a smooth mechanism would be about as good as well. Third you can purge air out of the vial so it's not sitting there, but counter I assume if you ever hit a blood vessel you could get a reverse flow into the vial that's not a risk with vials and syringes. Anyways pens are fun also there is 3d file for sleeves for gansulin/ convipens so you can change the colors if you want to customize and have different colors for different research options. I like the teal better than the sleeves though. If your on the fence, but have the funds try them out.

Most of my peps are 10mg which means they don't last long so I'm usually reconstituting weekly. The only two that last longer are NAD & GHK. I like to let the GHK sit out for at least 15 minutes. You wouldn't necessary want to let your entire pin contents sit out for 15 - 30 minutes before pinning. Similar with NAD. So, I don't really see the justification for getting one at this time.

Totally agree about Easy Touch. My go to. I don't bother with Sam's Club. I don't have a membership and I have a very large diabetic supply company that's about 10 miles from me, so I get things basically next day. I won't pin with anything but Easy Touch. I have some others that have been supplied to me and I use those for venting or gift them to friends.

Never thought about pens until recently and I'm in love. I wasn't sure if I was even going to like pens, so I only ordered a couple V2s and a couple disposable pens. I'm like, this is the best thing since sliced bread. Over the weekend I've ordered a couple of Humapen Savvios and I'm probably going to get the Gansulin this week. I'm obessed. There is something about the clicking, the tactical feel, etc. that I just love. I also love filling the carts.

Don't you have to have a prescription for insulin needles? I have been using my late mom's needles because I had a box of 100 of them lying around and I got some bigger syringes off Amazon for mixing. I actually have another couple boxes of her insulin flex pen needles. I wonder if that would fit a peptide pen?

I believe in some states, but most I am pretty sure you don't

in certain states, yes. That said, there are lots of places online to order them without.

I think the savvios look nice, but I don't think it would be as easy as the convipen and I don't think I need anything other than the convipen. If when you get a gansulin/ convipen report back, but I am pretty confident you may not want to use any pen, but an auto after you use one.

I like the autos but I don't like the hang ups from iffy carts. Once the stick is made the damn thing needs to do it's job. Pulling out and fiddling with the cart and resticking and hoping it works this time is more than I can stand. I picked up a Savvio (mechanical) as my backup, one hang and the cart goes to the Savvio until it's empty. Fool me once and FU, I'm not playing that game any more. 😆

Likewise I absolutely love my convipen. So much faster and lower stress than a syringe. I tried a Luxura briefly but struggled a little with technique and resistance when I would accidentally touch the side of the dial. I think it was a slightly defective one but rather than trying that again I tried the convipen which has been great.

Yeah I haven't had my convipens lock up but I also haven't used them much I am sure the day they cause trouble I might not be as in love with them as I am now. The savvios look nice but as long as my autos work I'll likely stick with them the second they don't it would probably be back to needles for me as I have so many, but if I had to try another pen that wasn't an auto I would probably try the savvios or the v3

Team convipen for life! I see that servopen is coming out with an option for 750ul max dose, but it sounds like it's still 60 clicks, but one click no longer being one standard unit so I think that is weird. I wouldn't mind an actual 75 click servopen, but I see no real point in it besides I control concentration and can make sure my dose is 60 units or less.

Alot of people talk about the feel and smoothness of the mechanisms, but the clicks on the convipen pen are nice and I can't imagine any mechanical push beating the automatic mechanism.

Yes, they would

If you don’t want your Luxura, let me know. I love those pens

Recently converted to pens and been loving it. Filling the catridge and filtering the peptide and everything after watching countless videos was exhilarating lol. The satisfaction to finally do it all perfectly just like the people in the videos. Shoutout to peptide critic for the great tutorials on reconning peptides and filling pen carts. Got a lot more peps coming in as well as some new pens. Cant wait to fill those carts up and load em pens!

Oh and btw I'm using the V1 rn, and have ordered some humapen ergo 2 that will be coming shortly too ☺️

My v1's are lovely. I found them to be a little bulky at first and would still welcome a smaller-for-my-hands one if I was sure it was as reliable as mine, but they take so little though. Talking on the phone, pull my pen-thermos, swabs, and a needle. Grab the one with the right label, and my units for whatever that is (and my concentration and dosage) is right there on it, so I know what I'm doing on my tiredest day. Swab the top, "oh no he did not say that, and what did you tell him?" needle screw on, swab my site, "well you know he doesn't respect women. If a man had said it, he'd have believed him" dial up, stab, push, "Yeah, I agree. That's good to know. But at least we've got Don on that project, and he DOES respect women, and John looks up to him, so at least it won't be a whole thing" (everything back in the fridge.)

Pens are the best. I have started a collection at this point. I have savvios, convi, gansu, etc

Do you have a favorite? I have a couple of Savvios on their way to me. I think that I read that convi and gansu are identical, is that correct?

Yes, I think you’re correct. Insulin Novo-fine pen needles that would fit a pre-filled disposable Novo flexpen are the same dimensions as a refillable insulin pen.

I read in the gansulin thread that the gansulin is slower to administer and the convipen pushes fast. I have the convipen, but am wondering if i should buy some gansulin's to have backups and to see the difference. It's so stupid, I am so happy with the convipen then I read that and I want to see if the grass is greener. Anyways there both in theory the same design licensed from servopen, there is even a third company called ansupen using the license, but I have never seen those for sale. So they shoud only be different in color but the rod on the convipen is silver and the gansulin black. I am sure different factories don't make an identical product.

What's also interesting is servopen looks like they are now selling a design to the same pen but it would push 75ul for 60 clicks specifically for "glp". Which seems dumb to me I wouldn't mind a servo pen with an options for 75 clicks, but the way they are doing it is dumb. I would be interested in if the "glp" version had any other considerations made in its design.

Edit: took my shot and compared to peptide critic video on the gansulin maybe my convipen is slightly faster (and I mean slightly), but I wouldn't have thought it was a problem let alone noticed without seeing that comment. I think I'll limit myself and not get any gansulin's, I like the teal better anyways and if it is faster it's negotiable to the point of non issue for me.

In most states yes, there are some states that will limit the amount you can buy of my understanding and some that require prescription. In the 2 states I have bought needles both times no weird looks handed over without a fuss just make sure to get your preferred gauge and needle length know the color of the box and you look like you know what your doing/ are diabetic and aren't a junkie.

I’m too fat to be a junkie😂

Thanks brother. Down 23 lbs in the last month.
No problem, consistency is key, I said even before glp that you have to want it and be ready for change to lose any amount of weight. The medicine in this case helps prevent your body from fighting against you, but you still are going to have to make the choices when your not even hungry, but see a cookie, and haven't had one in a month. You will be tested remember why you are doing what your doing. And as soon as your ready consider a treadmill at home I kept mine in my living room by my tv for the longest time, it's harder to say you can't or won't when it's right there in your house staring at you.

I’m fully locked in on the diet and exercise. I just upped to 3mg this last week. I started jogging again last week. I used to be 450, I got to 360 natural jumped back to 385 and started Reta. 362 this morning. Bought a digital scale to track my progress too. Thank you for the advice brother!

I am in Aus , so may be different elsewhere but once I found I was going through a pack of 100 syringes in a month or so it was getting a bit expensive. Diabetes supply shops are a fair bit cheaper than Amazon , about $40 aud or $30 usd/ 100 syringes.

I can point you to a local online medical shop who has them as low as $20 AUD if you want.

But I'm a total pen convert. I have half a dozen Luxuras (cheap on Ali), half a dozen ChiJaoDr plastic ones which I love but sadly struggle to buy now. I like the V1 thins too.

I bought 2 GenSupen2's and sold them. I hate mis-fires, doesn't happen with manual pens.

I also have two Savvio's coming from the US, they sure are a little exxy so I hope they're worth it.
