Order of R30 received from Binh at bff

It’s my understanding that yes, BFF’s product typically comes like that (mine did, too).

Based on information I’ve gleaned from Janoshik (can’t remember where at this point), the lyophilization process that BFF employs is mostly likely to blame, but that as long as the peptides test well, the broken pieces are not necessarily a problem. I heard somewhere else (K-Hole?) that someone in the research community intends to do some experiments related to that issue.

In any event, it’s just another reason for everyone to do an independent 3rd-party test on every product they buy (whether solo or as part of a test group).

Maybe partly due to packing, he’s sent before shipment photos and they’re beautiful. I’ve heard community claims that it’s because he doesn’t use enough (or any?) mannitol as a binder. A beneficial side effect of the ugly puck is there’s a lot of 3p testing being done and it’s mostly if not all well dosed (slight overfill) and >99% purity from what I’ve seen. So few vendors have this problem in the grey market it’s almost a hallmark. It tells me that Binh is the manufacturer, not a reseller, or a re-reseller, or even worse a re-re-reseller. When some bad batch wreaks havoc in the market, I always feel safe knowing that, a) that not binh’s product ! 🙂 and b) I have had my batches tested.

From AMO in 2024:

I haven't seen an AMO result where puck appearance impacted mass or purity.

Here's something to read on the subject:
