Hey - so I'm placing an order with a overseas vendor paying using BTC. I've got the coin ready to send however the vendor replied with an email that has apparent QR codes. Not sure how to send BTC using these? They also provide me a BTC 'taproot' however I don't know what that is. When I tried to test this as the wallet address the address failed verification. Would appreciate some assistance! Thnaks-

Thanks - I've got the address of wallet now however paypal is rejecting it even though it's a valid BTC wallet per my checks. I guess I'll try from coinbase instead.. thanks for the help!

Do yourself a favor where you can buy and send btc in exodus.... paypals a pain in the ass and coinbase isn't much better.

Looks like paypal has my crypto on a 3 day hold. Oh well, live and learn 🙂
That was probably the issue. You have to wait for the old fiat system to settle your funds before they let you move it out

Be sure to send it to a warm wallet instead of sending from your exchange wallet

PayPal sux for using crypto. I had zero success with PayPal and crypto. I've been using exodus with success.
Newbie here. Do you buy crypto directly using Exodus or it has to be on coinbase then transfer it to Exodus?

Is Trust Wallet the same?

I buy crypto from Exodus via a credit card, PayPal, or ApplePay. No idea what a Trust Wallet is about as I am pretty new at crypto. I only buy enough crypto to complete my transaction as I am not a crypto investor.

Trust Wallet seems like the same as Exodus from my knowledge. Thank you for confirming this that Exodus alone is enough to buy and send crypto to vendors. I myself is not into crypto, I am just asking around now as this is the preferred mode of payment.

Exodus and Trust Wallet are both "warm wallets" Meaning they are software connected to the internet.

Yes they are the same.

If you can buy crypto through exodus or trust wallet that's great. However, many credit cards and banks will block you from using those services, which is why people go to Paypal/venmo/coinbase etc...

Thank you. Now that is a clearer information why I see lot of users going through coinbase first and transferring it after to a “warm wallets” after.
