It is usually due to the way they are shipping. I think Fedex? requires a phone number.

I have not personally experienced this. However, I have a second Google phone number that I use for all purchases, never answer it, gets transcribed and forwarded into an email. Be careful about identity theft, especially with the markets in which we are dealing. 😉

Yes. It is not common but legit CN vendors have requested a phone number for shipping purposes. I am not sure what the reasoning was. I think it was contact info if Discord or TG accounts got nuked.

The only time I have had anyone call was on whatsapp and it was for India farm.

Kinda like an email request when ordering...Other than MIX who's ordering preference is email, I have never had a vendor email me either...

I just put in an order with ERP this morning and they wanted my phone number. I believe they need it for shipping.

Same with other stuff and a GB maybe. No uncommon. It's so the delivery company can get directions if needed.
