QSC Black Friday Promo

Canada and Australia always have the 20% reship insurance option, to be eligible for reship if the parcel is lost or seizure, and this is specific to these two countries due to their particular customs situation (they love to do their job).

But it is optional. If you don't want to pay it, you don't have to.
Which you recon do job most ? Oz or Canada - most of us Ozzies lazy lol wish our customs were

Yeah, I figured it would come back okay. I just don't understand why a bunch of product is shipped before you have the test results back.
From a business perspective, letting merchandise sit at a warehouse while waiting for something is non-productive and costly.

Just storage costs a certain amount of money, but worse, there's a lot of money that was spent on procuring that merchandise, money that is likely borrowed and losing interest, but even if it isn't borrowed, it is money that is expected to return even more money.

A business would like to turn over merchandise as many times as possible in a given year, because every turnover is profit.

The math is quite likely that what ever losses happen due to customers receiving items that turn out to have bad tests, and having reshipments and reputation loss, is far outweighed by the gains of having inventory turn over more times than it otherwise would.

Okay, that makes sense.

Except I want my car crash tested before they sell it to me and my anti rejection drugs proven before my organ dies. We're talking about injectable medications, not a warehouse of vacuum cleaners. A test result takes less time than shipping.

No disrespect to @penewbie's correct "merchandise" reasoning 😊

What you want is fine, and you'll wait for it, but you are clearly in the minority, as proven by the huge huge rush to buy QSC's BF deals.

Also, not sure how you came to the conclusions that the test results takes less time than shipping, considering...They gotta ship it first, to be tested?

QSC might not be the right vendor for people with those requirements. Or potentially any of the Chinese vendors.

It costs them money to house the product. Increases in cost to them are going to result in increases in cost to consumers.

When a vendor has the process down, they have a lot more confidence in the product so they can put it on market before the test results come in.. I am afraid that equating Jano's test with a car crash test is a bit of a stretch.. Jano's test is more like checking if the headlights work..

Not disagreeing and in reality the real value in testing is what the receiver (end user) has tested. Even then that's 1 vial out of 10 and you're left with 9 that are assumed to be the same as the one the tester discarded. I assume most of us aren't testing and choose to trust the vendor (some would argue cuz we're cheap, safety in numbers and stingy with our product which is true for me).

If the result Tracy posted is actually the "Black Friday Promo X" that you will be receiving the timing is expedient but still not necessarily representative of what you'll be receiving (purple caps don't turn green in transit). Personally I have doubts they've shipped anything from the most recent promo and are still playing catch up from previous ones. I still haven't heard anything on Nov promo #4 (T15 $95+10 pd 11/7 before the sellout) I also have a September order I've been waiting weeks for an email response.

They shipped my BF already (promptly) and it's already on the move in China.. if you have some delayed stuff, it's specific to items you ordered and not a wholesale delay in shipping..

If I cared about it enough I'd only order from vendors who provide it which is doable. But I can't pass up a good deal. Going forward I'm probably going to pay a premium for that added layer of confidence. Everything in my freezer stash seems to have a question mark on it. In Tirz alone I've got Amo (sting?) SRY (fent?) Nexha (miniseries?) and QSC (cap colors don't match the test).

I'm just making a distinction between pharmaceuticals and retail inventory which your example (to me) best applies to.

ETA - Don't get me wrong, I'm going to use every last mg of my freezer stash.
