Been on Tirz for about 5 months. I have lost 27 lbs and would like to lose another 10. BUT!!!! I def have lost muscle 😡. I lift heavy 5 days/wk for 30+ years. (Yes, I am old. 50+ club) My lifting has taken a hit as my max is down from where I was prior to Tirz. So, I need to cycle some peps to build muscle. Recommendations please.

I mean most peptides aren't anabolic. I guess insulin (is that defined as a biologic?).

Outside of that you seem to be old enough and well trained enough to know the actual answers which are food and sleep. (And of course AAS after everything else is dialed)

Though you could dabble in some of the antiinflammatory healing ones - BPC-157/TB-4/TB-500/KPV/GHK-Cu are the main ones. This can boost your recovery making your training and sleep that much more effective.

Any older guys try BPC-157/TB-4/TB-500/KPV/GHK-Cu? Looking for results, but, not looking for steroids, etc..

Not there in age yet. Really only peptide options are hgh or secretalogues.

I would up the calories temporarily to rebuild strength and when you hold your strength for atleast 4 weeks then start to cut again. Thats the slow way, but helps ego. Or just keep going and accept its the tax of a larger cut and hope to rebuild later.

Also IGF-1 LR3 and Follistatin 344.
but I wouldn't use those because... there's this really bad nuance when it comes to anabolics (via IGF, and mTOR stimulation); the effect it has on cardiac and aortic tissue. Compounds that significantly elevate IGF-1 and GH levels, especially when used in supraphysiological doses, are linked to aortic dilation and structural weakening, as well as cardiac hypertrophy. In this post-covid era (ie, covid infection resulted in enlarged aortas, according to the science), it maybe better to accept normal physiological levels at your age.

You know though, Follistatin doesn't work thru the GH/IGF1 axis, so it might be a way forward.

Are you on TRT? That helped me a ton. I have lost 30lbs of fat, my lifting has improved and I am stronger then when I started. I am also eating more and that actually helped me to drop more fat. I have been on triz and trt since November.

Are you eating sufficient protein? It's hard to imagine losing muscle with heavy strength training if getting proper nutrition, even in a calorie deficit.

I'm not going to assume anything about your fitness, but if you have significantly more muscle and strength than the average gym goer, you can lose it quick even with trt and hgh.

I know because I just lost a significant amount of strength and muscle due to excessive mountain biking while running tren as an experiment. Had the schedule and weather allowed me to hit trails every other day for a month straight. Even with lifting heavy, protein, 200mg test, 210mg tren, 4iu hgh I lost strength and size.

Btw wanted to run tren to see mental sides that everyone talks about. Since I was between jobs and single figured best time to take it for a spin.

A lower max lift doesn't mean you've lost muscle. You are eating less, at a caloric deficit, so that kick you have when maxing out is going to be lower.

I don't get the point of maxing out anyway. No one needs that working in an office or even on an oil rig. But yea, if your focus is purely on muscle building, then switch to reta and TRT (if you don't mind the fertility hit). Imho, reta is better for maintaining muscle than tirz, but I haven't tried tirz. So I could be 100% wrong and biased.
