I'm starting from scratch on Reta, having been on Zepbound 12.5mg. I plan on starting at 1mg (or should I start at 2mg?).

I have a pen and 3 mL vials. I have powder 6mg vials of Reta (I'll purchase larger ones as I titrate up). The Zepbound shots are 0.5mL/per shot.

I was looking at a 1mg dose, 3 mL of BAC water, or 2.00 mg of Reta per 1 mL of liquid. I'd be taking 50 units or 0.50 mL for a 1 mg of Reta.

What kind of concentration levels do you use for your dose? How much BAC water are you using?

Am I overcomplicating this? Is there a more straightforward approach I should consider?

Based on my recent experiences, I would recommend you consider starting with at least 2mg. I went from 15mg tirz to 4mg reta and it didn't do anything for me until I got to 8mg and it seems like most accounts I read of people like me that had been at max dose on tirz or close to it ended up needing a lot more reta to get similar results.

After trying a variety of different recon and concentration levels over the first few months originally, I settled on aiming for a fluid volume of around .30ml to .40ml per dose which to me is the sweet spot for comfort, convenience, and accuracy (the more fluid volume you have to work with, the easier it is to get accurate doses).

This is what I got for results using the calculator from one of our vendors. For 6x 1mg doses (which obviously - hopefully? - you would just double to get to 2mg) you would be at .20ml per dose if using 1.2ml of BAC to reconstitute.

Sounds good. I like my shots to be between .25 and .5 ml.

As you're coming from tirzepatide, you might choose to titrate up a bit faster in the beginning.

That's some good information, thanks. I've been looking for feedback about Tirz at higher levels, and then the experience switching over to Reta. The opinions seem to be all over the place. I'm still responding to Tirz, but very very slowly, hence the switch. I think Tirz will be a great long-term maintenance option for me after I reach my goal.

That calculator is fun, I appreciate the visual.
