Reta 12mg - Sloooooow Motion

Well folks, as soon as I opened my big mouth I all of a sudden FELT IT this week. I went for 12.5mg of Reta on Saturday and .7mg of Cag Tuesday and my heart increased (hasn't happened before), I dropped 3 pounds and don't feel like eating anything. How? Why? Maybe I just needed to talk about it. Or maybe I fucked up my dose. We'll see when Saturday rolls around and I do it again.

This always coincides with using a new bottle of bacteriostatic water as well, although I doubt that means anything. But what a change.

It really is not that unusual to get fluctuations over time of the effects of the drugs or weight loss rates. I had periods as long as a month with no weight loss on the scales while losing 70kg to the point where I got out a tape measure to see if my gut was still getting smaller anyway. I assume variations in drug effects are due to some measurement inaccuracies with the syringes with bubbles etc putting exact measurements off a bit. So long as you think you are eating about the same number of calories as you were when losing weight, the odds are you are still losing fat.

Before I started my weight loss journey and before I came to peptides, I was gaining weight despite keto/carnivore and eating less and less. Took a blood test to make me realize my thyroid was tanked, and it didn't help that my test was low too. When I started eating a solid 1800 calories a day (and adding back carbs), which is above what I was eating, the weight started to come off... slowly. Getting on Reta really moved the needle and I only think it did so because my last blood test showed that I my T3 was back in range. I would be checking bloods for low T3 as a possible issue. And if you are an older guy like me trying to lose weight, you will want to make sure your test levels are high enough to support your weight loss.

I appreciate your insight. I think I will just go back to Tirz.
Kinda same for me....10mg reta every 5 days and starving all the time. Same weight for a month despite gym 4 times a week and a daily walk. I just respond better to tirz and am not alone. Ill always keep 5 or 6mg reta with my 10-15 tirz cuz reta is so good for a1c,fatty liver, increased metabolism, lipids,etc....
