Hi Legends

I have been on 2mg for every 6 days for 2 weeks and decided to take it up a notch to 3mg.
Two days in my appetite is suppressed to a sweet spot, Interestingly my energy levels have increased through the roof which is bonus but I have started burping heaps. I know that the burps are probably from slow digestion, what I am wondering is my digestion too slow ?

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

When I hit 3mg on reta I didn't experience the sulfur burps, but they sure as hell came out the other end, usually the day after my pin.

A fiber supplement and a good probiotic are generally good practice and have helped mitigate some of the gastro side effects for a lot of people on GLP class drugs; also remember to hit your water goals as that can assist in keeping things moving along.

Probiotics like l. Casei help me a lot managing sulfur burps
Cool, never knew. I see now it is in yogurt and kefir and in the probiotic supplement I forget to take (Priobiotic-10 by NOW Foods). Some other probiotics for taking GLPs, per Google Gemini:

I use Proton Pump Inhibitors. 20 mg ezomeprazol. but it doesn't suit everyone.

Thank you for the info, water is on point but a fibre supplement sounds like a good plan.

I have experienced the same thing, am taking 2 other peptides besides reta so I'm glad to know which is causing it lol. Also doesn't concern me much, has anyone else experiencing the burps noticed it going away after awhile as well or is this something I should expect to continue as long as I am taking it?

After about 1 week they went away for me, I think I dosed up too quickly.

Burp is to polite of a word to describe mine. More like "BELCH" and I'm not sure if that is strong enough word. There's no polite way to "BELCH".

Yeah it is tricky, its a shame that the Belch can not be channeled into a musical instrument 😂

I was under the impression indigestion can be a sign of titrating up too quickly, or it shows your receptors are still sensitive enough you don’t need to increase dosage. I do get some indigestion after my weekly dose, but it’s always in the evening after a large meal, so I kind of think I could control it by eating a normal meal. I’ll learn more in the next few weeks as I increase my own dose.

It would be a receptor signal from tritrating too quickly, the burps and belching is usually from slower digestion to the point where the food is fermenting from bacterial growth in your small intestine no matter what type of food.

Regarding probiotics, sauerkraut is said to be a powerhouse with trillions of probiotics per cup.

Also, an Amazon reviewer said they used Bacillus Subtilis to make yogurt at home. That blew my mind a little since I never thought about yogurt made with spore-based probiotics, which have a different benefit profile while surviving stomach acid. But "most home-fermenters mix it with L. reuteri or L. gasseri to get the best of both worlds: the thick texture of traditional yogurt and the "acid-proof" power of the spores" (Gemini).
