Reta with bacteriostatic saline

Hello, I know that it’s supposed to be mixed with bac water but it’s difficult to find. Can you mix Reta with bac saline? I read somewhere that it may make the Reta into a gel, do any of you have any experience with this?
I’ve heard that you can reconstitute tirz with the saline but just curious about Reta.
