RFK Jr. and GLP-1s

i didn't read this because it was doing something weird "verifying your device" .

in general he'll be good getting rid of bureaucrats that are a drag on progress and having less regulation. we think.

his stated views are not consistent so it's hard to say what he will do. from what i can tell the common thread is a general cloud of anti-establishment viewpoints, but whether that means pharma ozempic bad/bootleg ozempic good remains to be seen. we're in for a wild ride with an administration that is all over the map and with no real platform.

I'm going to keep this comment politically neutral, but from what I've seen from him personally, my take on RFK Jr and peptides is that he seems to think peptides are a good thing if you're fit and want to get jacked (I'd bet money he's using HGH :ROFLMAO: ), but that he looks at GLPs with disdain, and thinks "clean food", exercise and a clean environment are what overweight people need.

Although it’s fun to toy around with hobbyists and joke about research, I really do appreciate the seriousness that comes with rigorous science. The assault on expertise shown here is staggering.
To clarify, by “here” you mean the political appointments that are very obviously driven by fealty vs professional experience and suitability, not “here” as in glp1forum?

Who knows if he'll be confirmed or if he does half of what he talks about. Some of his statements make it seem like he's in favor of the non-glp1 peptides, though what he actually means - more government funding of research so we get clinical trials, or just putting them back on the FDA compounding list, or something else entirely - is unclear from everything I've seen.

I know people that grew up on wellwater without added flouride and can say that I am absolutely a believer in flouridating the water supply, though.

the good news is that it looks like the senate doesn't have the votes for a recess, so these trump appointments will all be getting grilled by the senate. the problem is, there's just so many terrible appointments (take your pick between gabbard, gaetz, rfk, etc) that it's unlikely we'll be able to stop them all.

) that it's unlikely we'll be able to stop them all.
even if they are "stopped" it's 95% he'll find a yes person to do anything. this is how most of corporate America works. independent thinkers do not get very high up in the company. i don't know why people think they've never seen any of this before. we all live it everyday.

Seems like the new administration may end up on the same page.

Either way, again, we're literally buying black market drugs from China lmfao who cares what the laws or policies are
