"BREAKING NEWS: RFK Jr. says ~14 of 19 banned peptides can be legally compounded again by US pharmacies within a few weeks. This will ensure Americans are getting "a good product… from ethical suppliers" vs. black market drug dealers that provide "substandard product" with serious safety risks. The 19 compounds on FDA’s Category 2 compounding safety list include:• BPC-157• Cathelicidin LL-37• Emideltide (DSIP)• Epitalon• GHK-Cu (injectable)• GHRP-2 (injectable/nasal)• GHRP-6• Ipamorelin acetate• Kisspeptin-10• KPV• Melanotan II• PEG-MGF (pegylated Mechano Growth Factor)• MOTS-C• Semax• Thymosin beta-4 fragment (LKKTETQ)• AOD-9604• CJC-1295• Selank acetate (TP-7)• Thymosin-alpha 1 (Ta1)The five least likely to be legalized in a policy shift would be those with the most troubling safety signals or the weakest human data — for example: Melanotan II, Cathelicidin LL-37, GHRP-2, Ipamorelin acetate, and CJC-1295 — because of documented serious adverse events or other red flags in FDA’s risk assessment."

This will make a lot of people happy that are just too uncomfortable using the grey market.

I know JFK jr cannot say anything differently in his position, but the absurdity of saying there is no way to tell what you are getting on the grey market was pharma propaganda...but really, he cannot say anything else.

But he ( RFKjr ) is right, you know. You DON'T know what you're getting...unless you have it tested or it's independently tested...and you KNOW he's not gonna open THAT can of woims. He isn't going to say squat about testing.
We all know of someone who did not get what they had ordered... by having the pep tested. Either they got a totally different, non-existent or under or over-filled peptide has been reported NUMEROUS times.

Agree, he isn't going to say anything about there being a way to verify.
I've had stuff I have ordered from China with Janoshik reports that had different vial cap color and crimping...so even if it is posted, it still needs to be checked...but yeah, he isn't going down that rabbit hole.

most vendors say fill can and guarantee to be min of only 90% of stated. As for over fills I'm fine with it. Free peps, as long I know the over fill. Which isn't a problem if you test

He says a lot of things. I'll believe it when I see it, like when Customs stops taking packages at the border. If he says, OK, but US vendors only, forget it. I'm not buying single vials.
I would not be spending scads of money, or any money w/a compounding pharmacy for peps...I am pepping a lot of horses, that would not even be remotely affordable.

I started grey because I didn't want to live with the anxiety of compounded being taken away.

Now I'm staying with grey because yes please, I would like to slowly load my freezer with 20 years worth of no-fat-come-back for a couple of grand over the course of the next year or two, thanks much.

Serious question: How do you know the over fill?

Gotta love it. At least he is openminded and sees the big picture

Just noticed, that list has LL-37 as one that will be approved: "safety list include:• BPC-157• Cathelicidin LL-37•"
And as one least likely to be approved: "The five least likely to be legalized in a policy shift would be those with the most troubling safety signals or the weakest human data — for example: Melanotan II, Cathelicidin LL-37,"

You can bet your bottom dollar. But not as absurdly expensive as it will be if some of them get an FDA approval and big pharma can start cranking them out.
Forzinity, which is a essentially SS-31 and was granted FDA approval for Barth Syndrome, a rare disease, is $61,000 a month, last I saw. But they do have a coupon! We all ought to hope and pray that BP continues to think they are not worth the effort.

Would the grey market still exist for things such as reta when it gets FDA approved?

Of course, it exists for Tirz and Sema.
I was also wondering how their prices changed after the FDA approved versions came out. Did the grey market raise their prices? I got into peptides very recently so I am not sure about the historic trend in pricing

That part. Adding on, I'm not buying a single vial for more than the price of an entire 10-vial kit.

That said, on a different but quasi-related note, if I can get reta covered when it hits the market, I'll be all over it.
