I don't know anything about it except the GUI is clunky. It's 2026, surely we have just about nailed usability by now.
 
Isn't discord going to start doing photo ID identification? I imagine people will be leaving in droves.

Yes they are but it hasn't caused the mass exodus that I've been expecting. People just really don't seem to give a shit about privacy if it means they have to suffer even the slightest bit of discomfort.

If they give a shit about it all. It may be too late anyway. The surveillance apparatus being assembled by the US government right now is all-encompassing and cutting edge, utilizing multiple technologies, including AI. We're shooting spitballs at a battleship. Privacy technologies will have a lot of catching up to do, of it's possible at all, IMO.

I'm done stocking GLPs. I'm now working my way through a smorgasbord of other peps and seeing which ones I want to keep more of long term. So many peps, so little time.

there's an all encompassing AI coming to filter everyone's actions and you somehow think that servers don't log all of this data that will be fed into the AI? It's an unlikely nothing burger imo. The frog needs to be boiled slowly otherwise it gets angry.

I haven't dove that deep yet. Still wrapping my head the Reta I learned about in December and started in January.

Lots of bugs for now, but it's getting better every day. They are working on improving the apps. They plan to invite other vendors to try it out. Ptds is actively testing it.
 
I can't leave discord yet, but I've already reduced my groups there to 3. And hopefully in a month, that number will dwindle to 1 server.

I didn't say, I was talking about my potential intentions. I understand the deal, due another forum I belong to to.
