Figured I might head off a lot of "Is such-and-such Discord gone?" questions. There are a number of servers that have been nuked in the past couple of hours, and it may still be happening so if your favorite servers are missing that's why.

IMPORTANT:

Be very suspicious of links/invites to replacement Discord servers! Unless the link comes from someone who you know and trust, assume it is to an impersonation/SCAM server.

DO NOT blindly accept invites to servers just because you receive an invite!

In the case of vendors, wait for the sponsoring vendors here to post updated links themselves, and do not trust links you find anywhere else. As for vendors who are not sponsors here, proceed with extreme caution and again assume that links anyone else shares is a scam!

What could be the reason for discord to delete these servers? whats the thing against the tos here?

I just went through this on Monday with a vendor's telegram channel that was nuked.

Vendor thought it was the scammers themselves, they must be reporting servers to get them banned to cause disarray and confusion.

Then they flood previous members with fake but very similar sounding names to steal orders, especially when channels start to go back up

Safest way I've found to reestablish contact after a nuking is to have their main email previously saved or verify it on a separate vendor forum that hasn't been compromised. Even then be extremely careful.

Most vendors willl constantly state they will never ever contact you first and that is the biggest giveaway that's a scammer.

Is there any reason to think this is part of a larger crackdown on the grey market that may make stuff harder to get in the future?

It seems like there have been a lot more reports of customs seizures, too, but it's hard to get a good overarching picture of the state of things.

I immediately thought same thing but vendor told me they were certain it was bogus reports by scammers in this case. I believe customs seizures may be increasing, lots of noobs are flooding in and proudly posting photos of the stealth packaging all over social media which can't be helping things.

One of the discords I was in was nuked, and it happened a few hours after someone posted the packaging they received their goods in. I don't understand how someone could possibly think that was a good idea.

George Carlin said it this way: "Think of how stupid the average person is, and then remember half of them are stupider than that."

I don't have quite the cynicism toward humanity that he did (getting close of late) but I think it's worthwhile to remember, the vast majority of people don't have any relevant experience in anything that would pertain to a grey market. I spent close to two months in silent research before I made any comment whatsoever about anything in the peptide space. I think my experience has vindicated that tack. This message board seems to be pretty good at teaching people discretion (there are exceptions); some of the TG accounts I follow are pointed counterexamples.

Quite confusing. Have been getting some invite links lately. For now sticking in my small trusted bubble
The scammers are definitely taking advantage of the chaos. There have been a dozen or more people getting DMs with links claiming to be the new server admin. It's pathetic.

Yeah, this is somewhat typical of blackhat guerilla tactics. Demand is consistent and growing, but there's little "brand" loyalty so if some boats sink, consumers flock to the boat that hasn't sunk.

I was wondering if timing also had do with CN New year holiday break, since many vendors will be reducing operations and they wanted to take advantage?

Hesitate to reply, but I think it's the "Dangerous and Regulate Goods" part of the TOS.

But they don't really care. They're trying to IPO so whatever they need to do to keep their real customers (The Finance Bros) happy!

This seems to become more true the older I get, and the more people I interact with!
