Just read that people are vacuum sealing individual vials before freezing.

People have too much time on their hands.

So I actually tried this a week ago after discussing it with another forum member and the results were "good" if your only concern was keeping moisture out via a vacuum sealed barrier.Just read that people are vacuum sealing individual vials before freezing.

I get essential oil cases on Amazon for $10 (holds 30 vials) and one lunch box ice pack in the net of the lid (Amazon 2 for $10). I put the vials in so the bases are in contact with the ice pack and vacuum seal the whole case. (May be overkill but satisfies my OCD) Highly recommend the Gasbye 90kpa vacuum sealer (I see there's a coupon today on Amazon for $30 off bringing it to only $79!) Thing is a commercial quality beast that has a double seal feature and a strong pump.So I actually tried this a week ago after discussing it with another forum member and the results were "good" if your only concern was keeping moisture out via a vacuum sealed barrier.

I used an empty amo T60 vial shoved into a cut to size vacuum bag and sealed with my food saver tool. Did it work? Yeah. Would I do it for every vial? No. It's too much work for what I consider not a lot of benefit and the biggest sin of all, it doesn't fit in my nice little foam case. I have elected to just put a desiccant bag in the case where each type of pep is stored and call that good enough. Moisture intrusion should be pretty identifiable if it is any amount worth being concerned about and unless you are freeze/thawing all the time, any good deep freezer should eliminate the majority (or all) of this issue.
EDIT: I was going to suggest the reusable desiccant canisters like you would use in a gun safe or storage locker but I am not sure how effective any of that stuff is below freezing. I had some so I tossed them in there but it might end up being a waste of money in the long run.
That was I’m doing for fridge and freezer. Ordered some desiccant packs too.Just read that people are vacuum sealing individual vials before freezing.

Wow.. congrats. Does it depend what kind of cancer you have? My friend just found out her daughter is stage 4. She is only 37. I am going to ask her if they know about this...Whoa that Keytruda price is crazy. My mom is on Keytruda because she has stage 4 lung cancer and her prognosis went from 1.5 years (which would be up in December) to indefinitely because it’s been such a miracle drug for her. Thankfully we’re in Canada and she gets it for free.
It does depends on what type of cancer. What type of cancer does she have?Wow.. congrats. Does it depend what kind of cancer you have? My friend just found out her daughter is stage 4. She is only 37. I am going to ask her if they know about this...
Anela told me to do this. I have a vacuum sealer, so I put a few vials in with some desiccant and vacuum seal before putting in the freezer. It's definitely not pretty, but it keeps the moisture out.Just read that people are vacuum sealing individual vials before freezing.

It does. As ZakAP said, she was tested for certain things and came back as an ideal candidate for Keytruda. It's too bad it can't be used for all cancers - you don't lose your hair or anything. I hope cancer treatments are able to evolve to the point where everyone can use immunotherapy.Wow.. congrats. Does it depend what kind of cancer you have? I just messaged her about it. She actually has two daughters diagnosed receiving treatment at the moment. My heart hurts for her.It does depends on what type of cancer. What type of cancer does she have?
If we are still talking lung cancer - most of the time they will test for PD-L1 with an advanced cancer diagnosis. Basically (without getting into the genetics of it all) if PD-L1 is 0% Keytruda may not have benefit or not as much. If you want to DM me feel free - I am an oncology RN.
That would be extremely tough. My heart hurts for her as well .I just messaged her about it. She actually has two daughters diagnosed receiving treatment at the moment. My heart hurts for her.
One is already on keytruda. It will not work on her other daughter. Her cancer has mutated quite a bit and even the hormone receptors have changed. She is taking capecitabine.
Thank you for the offer, though.
Haha no she’s not! What’s funny is her voice is very clear and beautiful but the voice on TV is sort of announcer-y. But once we knew it was her, we can now “hear” it. But I wouldn’t have ever known it was her until she told me.Is she the Jardiance is really swell, the little pill with a big story to tell lady?
