I'm continuing to post lab results hoping it will catch on. These are from a group test that I was involved in that voted to release results. I think a lot of people are sleeping on SPB. Their quality and service have always been excellent. I assume this is the current batch, it was an of about two weeks ago.

Is this bad? How bad?
No, this is very good. Small overfill which is pretty typical for GLPs and very low endo nunber. It is an estimate because we ordered it to test for anything greater than 10 EU/vial. Could be more or less than 5 but anything under 10 is so low as to not be of any concern.

How do we interpret an overfill? More filler or tad extra reta? Or , do we not know? Purity levels, does that tell us anything about the question I just asked?

Testing only shows the amount of peptide in the vial not the filler. The actual amount of the peptide in the vial is miniscule; the vial is almost all filler. Thats why 10mg and 60mg come in the same size vial and often look like the same volume. Purity is only purity of the peptide in the vial, it says nothing about the filler.

I think overfill generally refers to the API (e.g. reta). I mean, when they talk about weight in the context of peps, it is always the API, not the filler. No?

Overfill here is regarding the tirzepatide (32-34mg vs the --I'm guessing--advertised 30mg). They don't measure the total weight of product, since that's kind of a useless number since it's mostly filler (often mannitol). Think of tirz like the "active ingredient" in an OTC medicine.
