SRY ghosted after order placed

Unless credit card fees are $375 yup! (In my 1st crypto mistake) Sometimes crypto fees exceed credit/PayPal fees and that's not even accounting for market fluctuation. Those with crypto this week know what I mean.
I found this with Nexaph. Ended up paying with PayPal. Nexaph onsite conversion from USD to BTC was over $30 in their favor. Paypal was $6. You've always got to be on guard with these guys.

what does it matter. losing your money thru user error may not be the vendors fault but is a reason not to use crypto. it means its not user friendly.

I’ve just had issues with SRY too. I sent funds via Coinbase to their address, have confirmation of receipt, and they are claiming they didn't receive.
Find the transaction id. If you cannot find that on coinbase, take the wallet address the supplier gave you. Go on google and put "search the blockhain". Go to one of the search siotes and enter the wallet address, and it will show that the bitcoin was sent. The girl tried pulling this shit on me. Maybe she thinks Canucks are stupid I don't know. She claimed that I needed to send a screenshot tyo confirm the payment LOL. I said get fucked, blockchain shows it was received. After some back and forth and posting my experience on here as well as complaining to the contact email, I got a response that the payment was indeed received.

Coinbase loves for you to use the "Base" network (even defaults to it). I haven't found a vendor who takes it. Base is a black hole! Hopefully you used ERC20 (Eth) or Sol etc...

you really think they're looking at that? if they had a problem with the vendor they wouldn't allow the charge in the first place.

i guess we'll find out if i ever have a problem.

yea, and i know the CIA is looking thru every one of our emails and texts. we're that important.

i am a new crypto user (but i am a tech pro, this is not confusing to me). I did find it wild to think that you can send a certain crypto currency to a specific address, but choose the wrong network, and your crypto/money is just gone, lost forever. does the same wallet address exist on multiple networks but belong to different users? that's insane, these wallet ids should be 100% unique.

imagine a credit card reader charging your mastercard $500 and your vendor saying "oh sorry i'm on the visa network, i didn't receive your payment" and your $500 is just gone forever, apparently it went to some anon honeypot in abu dhabi, and nothing in the process caught this or stopped it.

Some networks have that protection built in. Some wallets are also better at protecting you from it.

But they already broke rule #1 which is don't pay the vendor directly from Coinbase. So I don't have much faith they didn't screw something else up.

Was that vendor you had problems with SRY?
