SRY/ Paying with Venmo or crypto

Yes I'm sorry for causing any confusion but I did eventually find out that's Alan's number. And yeah he's probably checked out until after the Chinese holiday. But I bet he will get you straightened out when he's back.

Sry has been good for me but they have had some recent issues with their US operations, shipping, packing, so they're changing warehouses which is causing more delays.

I am planning to give them a month or two after CNY to get things straightened out before I think about ordering more with them

No worries, you were trying to help. Ive read a lot of positive info on them but understandably sending money, they saying he cant accept then disappearing isn't the greatest first impression. If he would have said no these wont ship until after the holiday I would have waited to pay. Hopefully all will get sorted, $430 wasnt a small amount of money

I did get kind of good news from SRY. As you may know, the SRY domestic warehouses have been having problems and it's taking a while for them to ship orders. SRY has acknowledged the problem and quit taking some orders. Today I received a tracking number from them. Right now, the USPS just says label created. But it looks like SRY is working on things.

This was on the trizep help spreadsheet and verified the number/email before contacting. I paid with goods/services so there is protection.
Number ended in 1524
The idea of paying for gray market peptides from a Chinese UGL with payment protection is wildly naive. You're buying unmarked gray market Chinese mystery powder from halfway around the world, you don't get buyer protection. Why would you?

There probably would be more non-crypto options for payment if people wouldn't do chargebacks against the vendors by using "protected" payment methods.

I don't know for sure whether any payment protection would work. I act under the assumption that if the merchant decides to take my money and not give me any product, that my only recourse will be complain on different forums. Does word of mouth do a pretty good job of keeping vendors honest? Yes, it works pretty well, but it's not a foolproof system. Just as we worry about getting stiffed by vendors, vendors worry about people posting negative things about the vendors. I can remember at least on one occasion where a customer posted a bunch of negative things about the vendor, the vendor responded, folks here then asked the original poster a few things, and ultimately everyone here who expressed an opinion concluded that OP was making things up. With all that said, any time you pay a grey vendor, you'll never have the certainty that you'd get with a major US internet retailer than your item will arrive or you'll get your money back. I assume if we buy grey for a long enough time, even if you act smart, you'll probably get burned eventually.

It might be, I bought from cool achieve for 3 years and always paid via paypal so I have no experience with these other vendors. My skepticism comes from a long time experience working with overseas businesses for my own business, if you dont have purchase protection and something goes sideways, youre literally screwed and it doesnt matter if you dont get the item or its faulty. Perhaps I should have made a smaller order first to see how it went before a $400 one. Lesson learned.

I understand what purchase protection is, and I don't even own a business.

What I'm trying to understand is why you think your drug dealer is going to offer payment protection?

It is usually the payment processor that offers payment protection. Not the seller.

I haven't looked but I assume something like PayPal or your credit card company is going to have specific exclusions for stuff like this and if you do a charge back they'll tell you to point sand. Just my guess.

But I did one order via Alipay that supposedly had payment protection, and maybe that's just for things like lost in the mail or something. I still assume if you're buying 400 pounds of "cat litter" on an alipay invoice and you try to file a claim for your money back, you'll have a tough time.

Although I also think Ali is going to act as an advocate in that case and come down on the vendor if they just don't deliver you anything. So the vendors are at least a little motivated to stay in good standing with alipay.

Long story short, you might get some payment protection from a place like Alipay but it's going to be limited to your order actually getting delivered, they aren't going to protect you if a vial is smashed or the purity is bad.

I'm pretty sure that the USDC crypto I used doesn't come with payment protection. My payment protection is picking a reliable vendor. That improves the odds I'll receive my order. But I figure if I keep buying grey, there is a good chance I'll eventually get burned. I just try to reduce the odds.

Hi everyone, Im not new to grey but had been using one supplier for the past few years that disappeared. Im going to go with SRY now and the only payment methods accepted are venmo and crypto. I purposely selected SRY from the spreadsheet because it said they took alipay, but that may have been awhile ago. I paid him with Venmo goods and services and calculated the extra fee and sent that as well. He left a note on the payment that he cannot accept anything but friends and family (did not mention this before) yesterday. I asked him to refund and I will re send as FF. Hasnt refunded or responded to my whats app yet, but Im sure he will.

Is this standard now where you can only pay via unprotected methods? Im no stranger to buying things overseas from my biz, and have several experiences where if something goes wrong the only protection I had was my payment method. I dont anticipate this, but still paying via friends and family makes me uneasy. Thoughts?
Update as of 1/26, money was finally refunded. Perhaps will try again after CNY craziness is over and not go through the head honcho directly. He was much slower to respond than the other rep I spoke with.

I likely got burned. I ordered from QSC. I paid with crypto. Tracy is now gone. My order hasn't arrived and doesn't track.

This almost happened to me, I was talking to someone with QSC and was at the bank wire portion but once I saw the $25 fee I asked if I could pay any other way and crickets. Sorry this happend.

Look in the "Vendor" section on opening page of the forum.
