SS-31 + MOTs-C vs NAD+

How long does NAD last before turning to gel? Is this common. My vial is a dark orange, so it would be hard to tell, unless it really got thick
It happened immediately, I don't know why . I tried to dilute it, but didn't help

This gave me a good laugh. This is my life right now.
If you figure out the fix, let me know.
I thought I was on the right track this past Wednesday when I woke up with an excellent sleep score. Was it my dose of selank, ipa/tessa or glow? The small dose of indica, or the Benadryl the night before... i tried the same mix last night and went to bed at 11 and didn't fall asleep till after 1. Was that because Wednesday is my reta and NAD day, plus the tesa/ipa. I was wired all day and I never had anymore caffeine after 7am. I took my LIT before the gym and had one of the better workouts I have had in awhile. The workout should have helped me sleep also.

I wonder if one of those all encompassing blood tests would help, or just add to the mix of questions. I could go to a doctor for some reactive treatment like a sleeping pill. But I'm trying to fix the root cause, not mask it.

I will be on a washout period in a couple months. I'm hoping all this bac water and whatever is really in these vials worked their magic and I have great sleep and wake up ready to go.

I wonder if there might be a local peptide group near me where I can meet actual pep users. You never know with internet sources, how much info is AI generated, or created by bots, or people hired by vendors, or vendors themselves pumping up false claims to get you to try more and more peps.

4 week update on running SS31 with some background:
Late 30s, I’ve been on low dose Reta (0.5mg e5d) for 4 months. No other peps or meds, except a cycle of glow50. Dropped 9% body fat, now around 19%. Took nad+ e3d 50mg and felt significant change in baseline energy. Finished a cycle of ss-31 4mg every day for last 25 days and I’m left with more energy than I can spend. I don’t remember the last time I went to bed without being tired, but still being able to sleep. My head is buzzing in the morning when I wake up. Sleep score is averaging 88 despite getting up at least once to pee at night. I’m going to start mots-c before workouts next week but honestly don’t even feel the need for it. I can stack 2 workouts in a day and not get tired. Recovery is better too. Didn’t even know I could raise my baseline energy levels this high.

Happy to answer any questions and help other level up 💪

Week 2 comes to an end. The clean energy continues, and the brain fog is gone. I feel sharp upstairs.

For energy, on Tuesday I went to work in the basement. I cleared out space for a home gym and office. I moved storage bins stacked to the ceiling into another area. I cleaned the floor and installed 1/2" rubber flooring. This included hauling 29, 28 lb mats from the truck down to the basement.

The full basement setup took about seven hours. I was constantly moving the air bike, rower, bench, and adjustable dumbbells while working in one room. I tweaked my neck carrying three mats at a time.

I am not sure if it was the protocol or the motivation to finally create my own space downstairs away from the wife, but it turned into quite the marathon. I only had the motivation for 3 cardio sessions this week as I was sore from the project.

Hey this really give me a lot of hope what you guys are sharing here especially with the cleaning of that garage, good job man! Do you other also report that the brain fog is gone after ss31 cycle?

5 amino 1MQ is trendy for energy and is included in an NAD combo along with MOTS (in an expensive combo by the vendor WWB):

The problem with 5 amino is playing with the dosing. It is like SS-31 or MOTS where there is no exact amount and pricing is an issue. I tried 5+ mg for my first subq dose. But that was a whole vial 🙂 So I will get a 50+ mg vial/kit next time.
I read this whole thread (great info btw), so hopefully I didn’t miss something that addresses this: I undertstand there are no established facts with NAD protocols, and this is definitely a shot in the dark, but could there be any benefit to running only 5 amino and NAD together? Honestly, I’m asking because I don’t have mots c or ss-31.

There are no established facts for the majority of the peptides. Well, unless you believe the mouse's results map directly to what a humans result should be. I've taken half a dozen that say they should help with sleep, yet my sleep scores when from excellent, to "needs work".
Until I found this magic pill this week.
Doxylamine Succinate.
After my current protocol ends, I'm hoping to see some good stats that are better than what I had before taking peptides. Reta is the only pep I've seen a result from.

Yes. 5 amino is one of the safest, and better studied peps out there .

Week 3 in the books and everything feels solid with no changes. I feel alert, alive, and well. This was my first full week on a 4-day upper and lower split. I was extremely sore, lifting my 42 lb kid and walking down stairs with jello legs for three days, but recovery was fast. I’ll give credit to testosterone and KLOW. I never felt the urge to quit or skip my daily cardio sessions. I’ll give credit to the NAD+/SS-31.

I scoured the interweb and could not find a single site showing subQ doses of NAD+ being taken.

Copilot summarized it up for me.

📌 You’re running 100 mg SubQ M/W/F, which is:

  • At the top end of published SubQ ranges
  • Still within what Neurogan lists as typical
  • Similar to the human NRCl SubQ trial (50–100 mg, 3× weekly)
So you’re not outside documented territory — but you’re at the ceiling.

I also checked here:

I'm not sayign your wrong. I'm curious to know where you got the protocol, for my own knowledge.

Also, which did peptide did you take by itself to determine whether SS-31 or NAD+ to give credit to for positive results? I ran 5mg daily of SS-31 for 20 days and got nothing.

Peptidedojo.com

Recommended Research Dosing

Based on current research data, the recommended dose for SS-31 (ELAMIPRETIDE) is 5MG TO 10MG ((100 TO 200 UNITS)), administered daily. This dosing schedule has demonstrated optimal efficacy in preclinical research models while maintaining favorable safety profiles.

peptidedosages.com
  • Typical daily range: 5–10 mg once daily (gradual titration); advanced protocols may reach 15–20 mg/day under supervision.
This site had a wide range 1mg up to 22mg taken 3x a week or every day.
That shocked me. 22mg would cost around 20 bucks a day. Based on a 10 vial kit costing 100 bucks.

I attached a popular protocol for SS-31 that is floating around. Unfortunately, I didn't find it until after I ran the protocol. So, I ran Epitalon after it. Based on suggestions here, and other sites regarding the order you want to run the peptides for fix/upgrading, improving mitochondria function.

I hope to run the attached protocol again late spring after a washout to see if I got any results from running these. And then run Epitalon after it completes, which I should have done.
I'm still learning. I don't know what I don't know.... Yet. 🙂

I follow the KISS principle, keep it simple stupid, for most things in my life. I started by dividing my total milligram per kit across the minimum recommended cycle lengths I found on pep-pedia.org. SS-31 and MOTS-C both list cycle ranges of 4–12 weeks, while NAD+ is 8–12 weeks.

I made sure I was meeting the minimum IM dosing ranges using whole numbers of doses. After doing the math, I realized I was short on SS-31 and a bit low on MOTS-C and NAD+ based on Pep-Pedia’s guidelines.

From there, I organized to the shared protocol, adjusted the numbers and individual cycle lengths to what made sense for me, and pinned.

To give credit where it’s due, things start to get a bit blurry here because I haven’t run each of these individually on its own. I am also on testosterone, which already improves my energy, mood, and recovery.

That said, the most noticeable changes since starting this protocol are that my brain fog is gone, and my baseline procrastination have noticeably decreased. Tasks I used to put off due to low stamina or energy no longer require a second thought.

For example, things like nonstop “honey-do” tasks or taking out the garbage in freezing weather just get done. There’s no internal debate or mental resistance. I simply get up and do it. It’s hard to put into words, but it feels like the effort barrier is gone.

That said, there are a lot of variables at play. The holiday season has been slower at work, which means less stress. I’ve also been especially motivated lately with personal projects around the house, and I feel dialed in with my training and exercise over the past couple of weeks.

It’s likely an accumulation of all of the above, but honestly, I feel better than I have in a long time.
