Hi everyone,

I started treatment on Monday, January 1st, and it’s been about a week at 1 mg per week. I still feel some hunger, but I find it easier to resist. I could still eat if I wanted, but ignoring it feels simpler. I haven’t experienced a complete loss of appetite yet. Has anyone else felt the same, with the effects gradually kicking in?

Yes, that’s pretty normal. Retatrutide doesn’t always cause the intense appetite suppression that some other GLP-1s like Tirzepatide does, especially early on. For a lot of people it feels more like hunger is still there, but it’s easier to resist and food noise is quieter. It also takes time to build up in your system, and 1 mg is still an early dose, so the effects often become more noticeable over the next few weeks.

Yes. Takes a few weeks to build up in your system. It has a 6 day half shelf life. For example if week one you took 1mg, and week 2 you took 1mg, at week 2 you’d have 1.5 mg in your system and week 3 at the same 1mg dosage you’d have 1.75mg in your system.

I started at 2mg and had results right after week 2. At 6 months I’m at the same dosage and still have good results. I’m 5’2” and 112 lbs
