OK, I've lost 50lbs since first of January, and 5lbs from my goal. Everything is good, looks good except that damn stubborn belly fat, and love handles. How in the hell do I loose that, and tips/tricks. I know it'll likely be sit up and stuff.

Tesamorelin is actually FDA approved for that exact use. The trials were on adults whit HIV but that shouldn't change anything. Generally, weightloss comes from everywhere and you can't really target it. If you get lean enough, it will go, but Tesa is probably the only thing that would be an exception to that and may help you focus on that area.

Some tesa protocols can also motivate intermittent fasting. In any case, tesa is one way to focus on body recomp, as is HCG for some men.

Some other options:

1) Move to Canada, apply for citizenship, and ask for "medical assistance in dying" (MAID). At some point, tell them you changed your mind. Between moving to another country and the near-death experience, you should lose a few pounds.

2) In theory, PT-141 can help with weight loss (one way or another, like with helping energy level -- not just libido). Some people say the same thing about SS-31 (energy boost and stopped the stall).

3) Elora or cagri (more practical than #1 or #2).

4) Just wait it out with reta.

What's your BMI?

We're clear that you're talking about subcutaneous fat, not visceral fat? Is your skin still loose after losing weight?

Huh? visceral fat is targeted according to the fda is my understanding.

22, and no not loose skin. You can actually feel the fat when squeezing the skin. That's where I blast my Reta, and can get a good spot for the pin.

From what I understand, HGH reduces visceral fat. Therefore, Tesamorelin does also by increasing the body's production of HGH. The only reason that other secretagogues don't get mentioned in the same way is that only Tesa had an actual study about this. I am happy to be wrong about this, but it seems to me that HGH is the real driver of visceral fat loss and it really doesn't matter which route you go to increase HGH in your system.

I also think most people confuse belly fat for visceral fat to the point where none of this really matters anyway.

Thanks for option 1 buddy. 🤣 I was actually think stick with the Reta, I think I have enough. Lol
I assume Tesa is lyophilized and needs to be reconned.

Wow, at 22, you should already be seeing good results, unless your muscles aren't developed enough.
I remember that at the club, some of the guys competing would dehydrate themselves because they had the same problem.

no its not. studies showed 15% reduction in visceral fat over 6 months at 2 mg daily, belly flab is subq fat not visceral. the studies did not show overall weightloss either suggesting the visceral fat just recomposed somewhere else on the body. people misunderstand this so muich because they didnt actually look at the studies themselves

you are a lot lower bf now than you used to be. at this point you are going to have a very tough time losing belly fat instead of muscle at large deficits.

if you increase your calorie intake and go into a smaller deficit you will continue to lose belly fat over muscle. psychologically its tought but when you are lower levels of bf you cant run a large deficit and lose belly fat effectively anymore, your body clings onto it. increase caloire intake to no more than a -500 daily deficit is where belly fat will continue to come off quickly

You hit it right on the money with the tesamorelin study. It also indicated belly fat did not significantly change. However, waist size did go down which could help with your overall physique.

The same rule should apply for a caloric surplus as well. No more than 500 additional daily calories is needed to gradually increase your caloric maintenance levels without producing excessive fat. That is of course you are also weight lifting.

I do need to start some light work out. I have dumbbells here. I stopped when I had my shoulder replace April 2025.
I love the back and forth banter. Reminds me of the very large Automotive I'm a admin/mod on.

Intermittent fasting + tesa:

As you sit in that fasted window with elevated GH, your body is forced to rely heavily on circulating free fatty acids for energy. If you couple this specific window with a caloric deficit, your body will eventually have no choice but to start pulling from the stubborn alpha-2 receptor zones—your love handles.

HGH can be better but also riskier. Not a fan, personally. Turtle beats the hare.
