Heya, new guy here. 45, dad of two from South FL. Also, a niche forum owner / admin in an unrelated industry. Love forums.

I recently began working with a wellness doc (for lack of a better term), as I was interested in TRT. He suggested I give reta a shot, as it was heralded as the next-gen weight loss peptide. As life turns out, I ended up with a double stent in my LAD, a mere week post the first 2mg dose. The two are unrelated, but I am curious to learn more about the cardio-vascular impact of reta and peptides as a whole.

Just a mere two weeks in, I am not only feeling much less food noise (especially in the evenings), but a pleasant side effect is also the much-decreased inflammation in my joints I've been feeling for years. This stuff's remarkable.

Anyway, thanks for having me, looking forward to this journey.

Not an expert by any stretch on Reta, but there have been many posts related to the potential of raising RHR. There have also been posts describing that in the trials some people did not have that issue at all and anecdotally many people report no issues.

A quick search here using RHR reta came back with lots of good reading for you:

Thanks for this. RHR is not an issue for me at all. Due to an AV Block II I've had for 30 years, my RHR during sleep drops down to under 40. I'll look into it further.
