I am taking 7.5 tirz and 2 reta. I have been losing at a steady pace. I am also working out and eating right. However, I still am not getting an improvement of my body shape, I'm losing just a little bit every where at once. I've lost about 40 pounds since I started, which puts my bmi at about 40 currently, to give you an idea of my size. I want to target stomach fat, will IPA/TESA help with this?

When I started my GLP journey, my BMI was around 35. I, too, started working out. I couldn’t see the difference between muscle groups until my BMI was around 31.

Today, my BMI is 27.8. I definitely see the overall change in body composition in most places, but NOT in my midsection (although I can actually see my … feet again, so I ain’t complaining).

Obviously, YMMV, but if that gives you any sense of what to expect….

As you likely will hear from everyone on this forum, there really is no way to truly spot reduce any part of the body, even with Tesa (although there’s nuance there). You’re going to lose everywhere all at once but some places are going to be finished leaning-out faster than others (for me, it is face, legs).

Tesa was FDA approved to target a very specific condition related to midsection fat. I’ve heard ppl who have access to DEXA scans say Tesa helps reduce visceral fat, which is in the midsection, and that certainly would help.

But it all depends on the exact body recomp you’re looking for

Thank you!

FWIW, I plan on running Tesa for the first time myself. I’m definitely hoping for a bit of fat burn boost, but my real hope is that it will help me recover faster (and might help my sleep).

My first batch should be arriving today. I’m doing a group test, so it will be a couple of weeks before I tap into it.

It’s not impossible to change our body “shape”, but a lot of it is genetic and you need to consider your body type. Are you an ectomorph (lean), mesomorph (muscular), endomorph (curvy/stocky)? Men, especially, chase the mesomorph. Like that perfect V-Shape that Dulph Lundren had in Rocky IV. A lot of women want an ectomorph, which is slimmer looking with smaller shoulders. Then, a lot of us are cursed with endomorph bodies and immediately gather weight around our waists and even with lower body fat look like we have love handles. We will never look like Ivan Drago, but more similar to power lifters. It’s almost like the only way to get rid of the damn love handles is with surgery but the cost is unreasonable and you can’t really change your bone structure.

A lot of people lose weight and just look like a small version of their fatter self. It’s frustrating because you work hard and imagine you will look exactly the way you want to, but you don’t. Also a lot of it’s mental because we want what we don’t have. Often, people with brown eyes admire blues eyes. People with curly hair want straight hair. And the opposite of course.

Figure out what your body type is and go from there. You can’t target fat, but you can target where you build muscle and you can fill voids. You can build your upper body to make your lower body appear smaller.
