Things you haven't eaten since starting on GLP-1....

I use to be able to eat a horse, well I always use to say Im that hungry I could eat one.
Pizza is something I have not touched since, I guess also finding out each slice is around 300 - 400 calories has helped as well.

I'm on Tirz and still starting, but so far no food aversions/reactions have presented, although I haven't had actual hot wings since starting. The main difference I've noticed on the day to day basis is my weekly caffeine intake (Grape Lost and Found is my go to) has dropped over 95% with no effort or desire on my part. I have drank 1 a week to make sure it's not aversion, but other than that I don't find myself reaching for them. 🤷‍♂️

For me it’s eggs. I used to have 4-6 most days. Since starting the thought of them turns my stomach 😂. I’ve managed to get back to eating them boiled or scrambled at a push but fried (which I used to have quite a lot) I just can’t bring myself to eat them.

Same 😭 it’s so annoying because they’re such a good protein source. Every time I look up breakfast protein ideas or ways to get my protein in, it’s always eggs in some form

Junk food in general, McDonalds, KFC, Wendys, Taco Bell etc. Just don't have the urge and prefer to cook steak at home than eat out. Most likely because I cut my steaks up into cubes and normally eat half and half in 2 meals.

Nothing on my not allowed list for 3 years and 2 months. Basically high protein fairly low carbohydrate, very low fat, low calorific density food only, Nothing over about 1.5 kcal per gram. Apart from 20 grams of dark chocolate per day which weirdly is not addictive for me like milk chocolate is. Lots of lowish calorie fruit to snack on.
I may just have to treat those high calorific density rewarding foods as something I am addicted to and cannot eat in moderation without putting on kilograms per week, and may have to do it permanently if I do not want to put weight back on.
Lost just under 50% body weight during 2022, without medication, but keeping it off was always going to be the problem.
Semaglutide and more recently tirzepatide plus a bit of reta as well, has made it a lot easier to tolerate, way less cravings for foods that for me are probably a bad idea, and less hunger overall. Still at 68kg from 145, and plan to be on GLP's forever, and maybe anything else that gets good human clinical trial data for weight loss in the future.

Before Reta, I was eating pretty clean and had already cut back on alcohol to a little wine with dinner on the weekends. I did have occasional cravings, but because of my shopping habits, there was rarely anything in the house I could eat to satisfy them. With Reta, there is zero food noise and very few cravings. Late-night snacking stopped cold as well. I don't drink any wine with weekend dinners anymore, and if I am drinking something for a special occasion, I unconsciously baby the one drink I have.

But still craving dads though? 😀

Pizza and wine.
I gave up or got in the habit of not eating several things and limiting others to a minimum. Gave up ice cream, all seed oils, doughnuts, fried foods unless I make them with avocado oil. I eliminated added sugars but have some on occasion now but in limited quantity. I hardly ever eat bread as it spikes my blood sugar more than candy does, white rice is a no go as well. Low glycemic pasta once in a while but not often. I cut out all processed foods for the most part and buy things fresh and cook them. I wear a CGM now so I can monitor how my food affects my blood sugar. Living insulin controlled is a life saver.

I used to drink a lot of fizzy (zero calorie) drinks, I stopped for the longest time after starting mounjaro as I'd heard you could have a bad reaction, I drink them again now, but no where near as much as before, I'm drinking a lot more water now, 2 litres per day minimum.

I just found my selection of high grade pasta from Italy while looking for aluminium foil to keep my steaks warm. Then it came to me. I haven't had pasta with self made pesto since I started my journey on Tirz.

What's would be your answer if I ask you?
1 1/2 quart caramel ice-cream most every evening for couple years. Got to be a real addiction. Considered myself to be a real conisuire(sp?) Then got diagnosed as T2D... Imagine that!!! Now it hardly seems attractive...

Since starting Tirz about 3 months ago my fast food consumption has pretty much haulted. I do the odd chipotle every now and then when I didn't prep any food but my spending has dropped significantly in this category. Even with compounded Tirz prices I'm saving crazy money a month cutting that junk out!

Pretty much all forms of carbs have lost interest to me.
Pretty much the same along with ice cream, anything fried (except wings once a week), pizza, pasta and so on. Haven't done fast food in 25 years, so I don't miss it. One things for sure, way less of everything. Been on Reta for 6 weeks.

Grease and deep fried anything. Oh and not one cigar (I used to smoke at least one a week, sometimes many more), but not one cigar since starting.

Used to love my salty chips 😋
Not food, but used to have a diet cherry coke or a zero cal monster every day. Still have coffee, but I've cut back by half.
