Things you haven't eaten since starting on GLP-1....

French fries.

I eat everything I ate before, just much, MUCH smaller quantities. Fried and heavy foods hold less allure, so I choose them far less frequently but if the mood strikes I eat a few bites to scratch the itch. Usually it's fried seafood I can't resist, I just need to add a ton of lemon or vinegar to make it easier to digest.

A big weakness of mine was a huge plate of cheesy pasta or lasagna, but I know that

1) I won't be able to finish it and
2) I need to choose something with protein so I end up not choosing to eat that huge plate of pasta after all.

After years of going off/on keto and not eating much sugar at all, I lost my cravings for sweets. Especially ice cream. When my son was an infant, I used to love pistachio ice cream and butter pecan, it was a nightly problem. Now, he's 7 and has a (tiny scoop) nightly ice cream, wants me to have some with him and I just don't want it. I eat it sometimes to join him but it has zero appeal, it's as appetizing as unflavored tofu. It's like the craving neural pathways are broken, totally neutralized. I hope that will happen with other junk foods.

I just found my selection of high grade pasta from Italy while looking for aluminium foil to keep my steaks warm. Then it came to me. I haven't had pasta with self made pesto since I started my journey on Tirz.

What's would be your answer if I ask you?
Pizza... not even veggie gluten free lactose free

CANDY! I used to be a candy freak....any kind...fruity, chocolate, sour, nutty, gummy, etc.
I tried eating a square of Russell Stovers sugar free chocolate almond bar, I just had no desire to eat any more.
I tried a cherry "jelly" heart near Valentine's Day, and it did not taste appealing at all...I used to devour the whole tub in a few days 🤦🏻‍♀️

tacos, chili, Indian food, foods labeled "hot" (hot cheetos, hot chicken, etc) .. 2-3 years on, and I still really lost the taste for spicy foods

Every few weeks I give myself a mental break and have one meal with whatever I feel like at the time. Example before my cheat meal could be a whole large pizza, but now it's only 2 slices of a small pizza. The other week I had half a cheeseburger from Hardees.

Fast food. My gym is in a shopping center with popeyes, mcdonalds, chipotle, taco bell, etc, and the smells used to get to me. Now I barely notice it. But at home chicken breast, had to switch to chicken thighs lol.

It has been over 6 months since I had pasta, but with my oregano and basil growing beautifully, and my initial goal hit, I am spending this lazy Sunday making a Bolognese with a beautiful bouquet garni, and will likely regret it, but not until I eat it for sport!
already corked a bottle of wine for good measure..

Pizza which is so weird because I used pizza as my answer for the one food I could eat everyday!

I can no longer make a meal out of fried foods. I always thought that fried foods tasted so much better. Sometimes, the thought of it makes me nauseous, and on some days, I might try one or 2 of my husband's or daughter's French fries or whatever it may be, but only to taste, if I'm up for it. I don't miss it.

Exactly the same. I have zero desire for fried foods anymore!!

Bagels, i just don't eat that much bread any more. Maybe with one meal a day but not at least twice or even as a whole meal. I used to be able to crush a loaf of garlic bread, now i get one piece or I would be too full to eat anything else.

a whole rotisserie chick from the grocery store. in the parking lot.
I used to eat that, but I saw some fitness influencer doing it on YouTube so I said it was fine. He wasn’t dipping it in Chik fila sauce, but…. I also was only 20lbs heavier than now. I don’t think I could finish the breast portion now.

More than anything, I have lost almost all interest in coffee. I've only been on tirz, which I guess may have a greater effect than reta on changing taste preferences.

"Foods that once tasted normal can suddenly seem off-putting or intolerable. Among the most frequently rejected foods are fatty dishes, deli meats, sweets, coffee and alcohol, while new preferences include fruits, lean proteins and plant-based items.”

When I first started and for 9 to 10 months anything sugar, carbs. Now that I hit an ok weight and have stayed within 10 pounds I kinda crave sugar like before which scares me but my weight is holding for the most part.
