Think I finally got ripped off

It was bound to happen eventually but I feel like I’m taking crazy pills the whole situation is so dumb

I ordered some small things from joyous. About $70, $85 with shipping I think

Later that day I remembered something I wanted to try so I ordered a couple half kits of some things for a couple hundred bucks. Paid the exorbitant $15 shipping again. It was my fault I forgot to order everything together, after all.

Sent her an email mentioning the double order in case she wanted to combine them.

Order arrives, I immediately notice the envelope is too small to fit everything. The handwritten packing sheet has everything I ordered from both orders listed but only the items from the second order.

Sent her an email replying to the chain we had going… no response. Waited 24 hours or so and figured she just didn’t see it. Sent a fresh email, no response. Pinged her in discord, no response. On one hand it’s such a small amount that I’m not sure I care that much.

On the other hand it’s such a small amount that it’s absurd to ghost someone over it 😂

I even paid shipping twice so she’s not even out the cost to ship the items she left out. 😂

And this is why I only order a kit or two at a time.

Probably a language barrier thing. Especially challenging via faceless texts and emails.

I had a similar experience with a trusted and well-considered source because I changed my order a couple of times in just a few minutes including adding on one thing and deleting another. I wasn't sure what I would actually receive. When it arrived it was correct but man did I make the order verification difficult. That was on me forgetting that the person in CN was likely using a translator and i was using my typical american lingo. Not a combination known for accuracy and clarity. lol
