I think this is a self-hosted license of Xenforo. Could be wrong, but that's my hunch. So not much they can do...

My light research pointed to this site being hosted in a land that would be difficult to reach by law.
 
If admin ever has any issues I'll offer to host the site for free, DM me :)

(This is kinda my day job so I already run other Xenforo instances on my bare metal boxes. God bless Containerisation - it literally takes less than an hour to set up a new LAMP + Elastic environment.)

I didn't realize that, I saw the

in the footer and assumed it was hosted by XenForo.

Sorry you're being clowned on OP. I don't sincerely think that Lilly or Novo were directly involved in this incident, but I wouldn't be shocked if they are strategically applying pressure behind the scenes in a way that has incentivized this wonky behavior.

I can actually confirm that this place is more visible than a lot of people realize. For about $150 a month you can get access to tools that allow you to monitor activity on forums like this. I wasn't looking for that information, but I found it while looking for ways to monitor GLP-1 news. I'm cheap though. Pretty sure Lilly can afford the 5k/m package with all the bells and whistles.

EWB doesn't have the permissions necessary to make fundamental changes to this site so the best we can do is be mindful of the fact that we are very much in public, and try to keep discussion of sensitive topics in our more private spaces.

I also don't think there is a clear "best vendor" at the moment, but we have the opportunity to vote with our dollars and demand changes we believe reduce risk for us and increase our security. Now is an excellent time to do that with GYC if we think they are capable of rising to the challenge.

Well, several of the US pep vendors have Google shopping and pay-per-click campaigns running so I think we will see them fall first.

Whatever we do, if they really want, they can do harm to us, whether we restrict this forum or not won't change anything in the end, I think this is why OP got laughed at for.
 
For real we don't know what really happened this year, but I don't see at all how making this private would help anything.

Whatever we think happened, will continue to happen anyway, I very doubt we have any meaningful control on any of this tbh 😂

I was invited to dinner at Club 33 a couple of months ago. I'm afraid that's my peak, sadly, so of course I must create my own exclusive club.
