TikTok is really creating problems in this space.

I 100% agree with you. I don’t have Tik Tok but I’ve been following along with what is going on in various forums and I am starting to get really annoyed with these Tik Tokers. I am not as concerned about the China vendors going away because of them as I am the US vendors, but these unboxing videos are going to make it harder for us to get our package through customs since they will know what to look for.

Payment options are getting scarce. Some of the online stores can't even hold a sale because the cc gets shut down.
If CC is a payment option, you are shopping in the wrong place to begin with. If someone can't or won't learn how to use the alternative payment methods, they should probably stay out of this arena anyway.

Some of us are not comfortable sending thousands of dollars in "cash" to a Chinese vendor that may or may not come through. That doesn't mean we don't belong here.

It just means that you will be limited, likely more each day, on who you can acquire the peps from.
Sadly, it is the source of the issue; the ability to cancel an order is not conducive to this type of transaction. This is why so many vendors are no longer accepting other payment methods.

Not to mention your opening yourself up to other problems with your CC company or PayPal.

But there is no "belonging" here, just fitting in. 🙂

For now you still fit in with many options, only time will tell how long.

I suggest everyone learn crypto or stock up.

The irony of someone saying that they are not comfortable sending money to a Chinese vendor, but have no issue using said product from that Chinese vendor pretty much proves my point, wraps it up neatly and ties a pretty bow around it. I am not saying you shouldn't be here. I am saying that if you don't trust the particular vendor you have chosen enough to use something as elementary as crytpo, you should probably take a step back and reevaluate whether you should be playing in this particular sandbox. I have been in this arena for more years than I care to admit, I have half a dozen previous vendors and three current vendors that I purchase from monthly. Not one of them has ever, or ever will take CC for purchases. That's why they have been in business for multiple years and charge 50cents ( or less) per mg. I guess the reality is, if you aren't comfortable sending the "Chinese" money, you sure as hell shouldn't be using "Chinese" products. But you do you. peace.

I'm new here, but I'm not new to my struggle with a healthy weight. From what I have gathered so far, peptides have been available for quite a while for other uses other than losing weight. In my journey, I started working out with my mom when I was 11 doing the 20 Minute Workout on TV in the 80's. Joined my first gym at 15. I was told by my best friend's mom that I still had "baby fat"👶 when I was 16. Had my first baby with my husband when I was 20🫄 and after that he sang the Jello song to me (look it up) and liked to poke my belly and coo like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. After my first divorce at 22 I took my first Phentermine pill and thought I was living again!💃 When I was 31 I decided to have Roux n Y Gastric Bypass surgery that changed my life as a mother of 3 young children. And on and on....life happened.
In Sept 25, I realized my maxed out blood pressure meds and nightly drinking were not working and I would most likely die sooner than later, I forked out the $500 a month to my doc for compounded semiglutide. I drive a 99 Chevy and frankly, folks, I need a new car! lol
Here I went down my rabbit hole after purchasing what I now know is "grey" from a childhood friend online....I have found something that I can actually look at as being lifelong help for my mind fuck with food and my body and people are being so irresponsible with sharing the information I am just so grateful to have. WTF???? 😠😡I do not want to panic buy as I can not afford that but.....I have 60 viles on the way, thinking about freezer space and how to buy more. I've figured out crypto! 😀
For those of you that have worked hard to build these online resources, THANK YOU! I can only imagine your frustration with what is going on. I promise to be discreet and responsible to this community on this journey! 🤝🤜🤛🦋🦋
Your bolded line reminded me of me this weekend. I saw an ambulance chaser ad about Wegovy, listing known side effects that are common knowledge.

Like you, I don't understand the irresponsibility (you KNOW it has side effects when you take it) and it made me wonder if lawsuits were going to "ruin it" for me.

I am finally at peace with food, and I am so grateful that I have even made peace with all those years and all the money I wasted on other methods.

I'm curious and feel like I may be missing something. I'm not trying to get the absolute cheapest grey that I can find, I just like the ease, convenience, and speed of ordering from a vendor in the USA. I don't mind paying more, money isn't a problem.

I no longer use compounded or grey GLPs, but I have 7 months' worth (and am about to add three years) worth stocked in my freezer in case the day comes that my insurance provider drops Mounjaro or decides I don't need it anymore because my weight is in normal range, or because my glucose level is low enough that I can go back to standard diabetes drugs.

So other than cheaper cost, is there another reason that we shouldn't be buying from vendors who take credit cards?

I know how to use crypto, I just choose not use it for this because CC is easier.

Ease up, man. That’s a bold statement that sounds like something a person on MESORX would say. There are people on here that choose not to use crypto but will run circles around you, and I with their knowledge of peptides. They may be older, or just not have that kind of access.

I apologize, I wasn't clear in that my response was tailored to her specific comment and not the process in general. There is no reason at all that you shouldn't buy from vendors who take CC. Just understand the process. You are still getting greys, you are just paying a convenience fee in increased cost to be able to use a CC and have it shipped from the a US warehouse. If you find using a CC easier, and don't care about the difference in cost, by all means, use that vendor til your heart's content. It was more directed to the poster (and others) that want the grey price AND only want to use CC. They just are compatible in the long run.

I have no interest in mesorx. I am just a biochemist with 20+ years of experience in this field, participated in launching several drugs (including Ozempic), physically visited some of the largest manufacturers in the world, and understand the process. If you think they can run circles around us (me) then by all means, have them DM me and we can walk through it soup to nuts and even down on a molecular level. Being a scientist, I am always up for learning new things and expanding my knowledge base. I am also 99% sure that the posters who are "uncomfortable" trusting Chinese companies with their money, but have no problem trusting them with products they are injecting into their bodies, are not the "run circles around you" type. Being "older" (whatever that means) is not an acceptable excuse for not understanding the process, and if they don't have access, what the hell are they doing here?? There are a dozen links to vendors that will give them access, they just have to look at them. It might be a bold statement for someone on MESORX, but it's just normal communication for people in the field. Anyway, if being bold is the worse thing I am called today, it's a good day. 🙂

What the hell are you doing here? You clearly think you know everything because you’re a “scientist” and your arrogance isn’t helping anyone. If you are such a man of science why aren’t in a lab, getting paid to do this instead of slumming on a forum with all of us common folks? Where is your PhD from? Or are you someone with an undergraduate degree who works with scientists, lying about your title? Either way, you are just too intelligent and witty for the people who don’t use crypto.

Also curious where you are published? I would love to read some of your work.

Ok, thank you, I understand🙂 I totally understand that my "domestic" is still grey and that I am paying for convenience.

hmm. Not sure I am the one who sounds like they are on MESORX ..
"Being a scientist, I am always up for learning new things and expanding my knowledge base."
Which part of that sentence would lead you to believe that I think I know everything"?? That doesn't change the fact that I am a scientist and my post was most likely factually correct. I am sorry if it hurt your feelings and caused you to lash out in the rest of your post. You can go read every post I have written it is all pretty consistent. Yes, I am an undergraduate who has been do this for 20 years, and launched Ozempic. I am taking the scenic route to my degree.../S I guess I could be lying, but that wouldn't make much sense and you countering with that actually tells us volumes more about you, than it ever could about me. It doesn't take much intelligence ( or wit for that matter) to use crypto so I don't really have any response to that. Oh well, right. I don't think I have anything more to add to this conversation, but it has been a pleasure, cheers.

So you did lie about your title. I see. Enjoy the scenic route.

*You're the most American sounding Danish scientist I've ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Trust me, being BOLD is not the worst thing I'm thinking of you, I just won't waste my cussing points on you. You seriously went off on someone, saying they shouldn't be in this arena, then corrected and said you did not say they "shouldn't be here."
The massive, unproven hubris you're displaying is nauseating.
I'm unimpressed with your alleged credentials and I seriously doubt you were instrumental in LAUNCHING Ozempic. *
Also, I've visited many of the biggest airports in the world--does not make me a pilot, or "understand the process". And what exact "process" are you quibbling about that if we don't understand it, we should bow out? You started out talking crypto, then molecular science.
Brilliant people rarely have to point out and enlighten everyone on their brilliance.

And you have over 200 confirmed kills and graduated top of your class in the Navy Seals.

I said I don't feel comfortable sending "cash." That's my preference. Case in point, my last shipment got damaged at a DHL facility due to flooding. The first response from my vendor was, "This is a natural disaster. It has nothing to do with us." Since then she has offered to send me a replacement, but that was her first reaction. And, frankly, crypto is not "elementary" to many of us.

Imagine stocking up then finding out you got a dud batch in 2027 😭
I think this topic has slightly derailed. But happy to see folks agreeing with me. I am doing one final big order of my basics to shove in the freezer and I am good until 2029 (who knows if the world even exists then at this point?)

You don't owe this person an explanation for your payment preference. He was unhinged in his determination of who should or should not be in the space. And kept mischaracterizing what you said, many times over.
There are people who don't use crypto because it complicates their taxes, as well.

I do what I'm comfortable with. I have had success with blends of amino's/vitamins in liquid form that are sold by the research labs that are not even sold by china so that limits my options. Some of us purchase more than Glp's.
