What dose of reta are you at?

So that’s like nearly 10 wks, for an average loss of nearly 4lbs a week. At that rate I think you’re likely to be losing muscle weight as well.
Yeah, that's a bit to fast. I'm about 1-2lbs/week on 8mg. Due for pin #5 on Friday. We'll likely stay here if possible. I have like 5-10lbs to go. Then I'll figure something out for maintenance.

1.5 months in and at 4 every five days. I've lost 4 pounds. I'm a very slow at losing weight. Probably because I'm very short. It's just harder for me.

Good luck

This is what I said week 1 because it worked so good out of the gate, but on weeks 2-3 the appetite suppression dropped pretty heavy for me.

I'm going up to 2mg now in a few days
Sounds like some people supplement with cagri for the hunger suppression with both tirz or Reta

Something to consider if you need more help

I lost like 10 pounds and a pants size or two in my first month of Tirz, but that was mostly in the first two weeks. I bounced around after that, never really going lower, but definitely less body fat overall I’d say.

I’ve switched to Reta now and I’m doing 1mg split doses, 2mg a week. I just took my second dose of the week today.

I will say I woke up after the first night on 1mg and had an anxiety attack in the morning. I could feel my heart rate being higher than normal and not going down… which feels like the start of an anxiety attack and thus ended up becoming one, lol.

I can’t really feel the Reta as much as the Tirz besides that, though my energy seems better so far. I do feel like I’m easier to sweat though.

To my fellow nerds out there, here is some information about the phase 3 trials of Reta. Great results.

They started participants at 2mg weekly. Then monthly titrated up to 4mg, 9 mg, then 12mg. Obviously high doses are not meant for everyone but 8mg seemed to be the sweet spot for some things. If anyone follows Dr. Alex Tatem, he put out a great video about it also.

Just titrated to 7mg this morning (week 12). Week 1-4 2mg. Week 5-8 4mg. Week 9-11 5 mg. 5’10 male starting weight 286 Feb 15th. Started Reta March 26th at 266 lbs. weighed in this morning at 238lbs. According to my run star scale I’m down 37.2 lbs body fat and up 9.5 lbs lean body mass since starting Reta at the end of March! I’m at 1600 calories per day, 200g protein. Lift 4 days a week and cardio 2-3 days a week.

That’s amazing, great job!

Sorry, but that's a misinterpretation of the details of that study.

Nobody in the TRIUMPH-1 study went from 4 mg to 9 mg. There is also nobody taking the 8mg dose you mention at any time. There was a group of participants who titrated to a maximum of 4mg, a group of participants who titrated to a maximum of 9mg, and a group of participants who titrated to a maximum of 12mg, plus a placebo group (intentionally ignoring the 24 week trial extension for a minute). The titration steps were 2mg, 4mg, 6mg, 9mg, and 12mg.
