Tirz Burning Poll

Slight burning/pain. It was more like a 2-inch red oval that itched like a mosquito bite. Three different manufacturers, all with the same results. No cream, ointment, lotion, or Benadryl-type medication (pills or ointment) would stop it. The slight pain and itch lasted for 4 days. By the time the next shot was due, the redness was 95% gone. The dose size didn’t seem to matter, except the red oval would get slightly larger, maybe by 1/8th of an inch, with higher dosages. I started taking tirzepatide at 1,250 mg for 6 weeks, then moved to 2,500 mg for 6 weeks (it was the first GLP I had ever used), and it worked great.

Things we did to try to eliminate the problem: three different brands (Skye, Peptide Sciences, and one China source) — all caused the same reaction. We tried different injection sites (stomach, thighs, love handles, and butt), but all had the same results. Injecting 1 ml of straight Hospira bacteriostatic water into two different locations caused no pain or irritation, so we ruled out the water as the issue. All vials were reconstituted with new Hospira bacteriostatic water bought from a medical supply store, and all were stored in the fridge. We even tried running it through a .22-micron filter, but it made zero difference.

When we switched to semaglutide, there was no redness, no itching, and no problem. Those were my wife’s results. Interestingly, I used the exact same vials from all three vendors and experienced no redness, pain, or itching. My wife has used melanotan 1 and BPC-157 with zero reactions, so I don’t think it’s the filler (mannitol) used in the peptide mix. I would assume the issue must be with the tirzepatide chemical itself.

I have seen a few people post about allergic reactions with tirz now and it seems to be something that some people experience. On another note, the manufacture, Pfizer, recommends keeping the BAC water out of the refrigerator as the colder temperature speeds up the deterioration of the alcohol in the solution.

I've posted this before, but this is the perfect thread to record this for future reference.

Just to be clear. THIS IS NOT ABOUT AMOPURE TIRZEPATIDE. This about my experience with Tirzepatide through Valhalla Vitality.

I've been using pharmacy compounded tirz for a few months and I experienced stinging/burning on 3 occasions, where I had to ice the area for about 1/2 an hour after injection.

Here's the interesting part, I share the tirz vial. Other person has never experienced stinging/burning and we take the shot at the same time. Other person takes a higher dose than me. I did not experience the stinging/burning for the first few weeks, but maybe started happening at my 7th and 8th shot (stinging/burning was consecutive for 3 times after), and I haven't experienced sting/burn ever since then.

Also, I took Ozempic prescription shot before starting tirz. I was only on it for 4 weeks. I developed a round welt at injection site using Ozempic pen at my 3rd shot and also had to ice it.

One more thing, I've bruised easily with no sting in the past, but not all the time. Other person has never bruised.

Now I'll share my AmoPure tirzepatide experience. I used L60 purchased early September two days ago - I'm happy to report, absolutely no sting or burn.

In the future, if it does sting or burn, I will not be quick to blame it on AmoPure because of my personal history/experience with regular Tirzepatide/GLP1s. I did filter the AmoPure with the recommended size from PeptideTest, transferred to sterile vial, and used Hospira Bac to reconstitute. I did notice some "gel" sticking to side of vial when adding BAC, but that went away and reconstituted completely clear with no impurities seen to visible to the eye.

Oh, thank you for that information about BAC water storage. I currently have my opened BAC vial in the fridge, I'll take it out tonight. My unopened BAC is stored outside of the fridge.

I had what would be a 4/10 from name brand Zepbound. First three weeks were fine. Last week of my first box had significant burning that lasted almost 30 minutes. Since then have gone to LSH, which one stung once for five minutes at about a 3 and then eventually Amopure L30 which after a month have not stung or burned. I have started letting my syringe warm to room temp after I draw it up, which I think helps.

this seems like an overreaction. the problem with accusing people of being shills is where does it end? go to reddit, facebook groups just for name brand tirz products and there are plenty of folks who report stinging or effects that vary from injection to injection with the pens. same carries to compounded. are all of those people amopure shills as well?

No, those cases really don't exist, or are SUPER rare from what I can tell. What isn't rare is the plethora of amopure users complaining about post injection stinging in this forum though. Hopefully, it's a thing of the past moving forward. We will have to see.

No, those cases really don't exist, or are SUPER rare from what I can tell. What isn't rare is the plethora of amopure users complaining about post injection stinging in this forum though. Hopefully, it's a thing of the past moving forward. We will have to see.

I mean... I think it's kind of an overreaction too. I think Amo has an effective product and I've personally had no problems with it. I admittedly took the plunge with their product before the reports of stinging were coming in, so I'm not recommending it to people because of the ISRs but it's a bit of a stretch to say that if we buy and use their products that we're shills. To me, it's very obvious that whatever filler they're using commonly causes a reaction and so people should buy at their own risk. Maybe it's just because I grew up with a pharmacist in the family, so I know how common it is for people to react to fillers, so it doesn't bother me, idk. I react poorly to name-brand Tylenol because of their fillers (and it's a fairly common reaction) but I don't think anyone who recommends Tylenol is a shill. Just seems a little silly.

But I do hope that new people coming in here think long and hard about whether they want to potentially deal with an ISR for the next 50+ injections. If they prioritize ease of ordering and having a website then maybe they don't have a problem with it. As long as they order it having all of the information.

I'm just going to call out every new user I see coming in with a definitive statement about a complex issue, whether they are defending a company or accusatory. I just feel like a quarter of the users who pop up in here are fake.

I've been lurking for a couple months now but wanted to put in my 2 cents. RS has used Hallandale and AmoPure (20), no pain reported with either injection. RS started developing an injection site reaction after increasing dose to 5mg with both Amo and Hallandale. Interestingly enough, if RS splits the dose to 2 different injection sites, RS does not develop an ISR.

sorry but nope, im just a fat guy who found this site after figuring out how i was going to acquire GLP1s because im poor as shit and compounded was very expensive even on the cheap end. I have been learning a lot here (and a few other sites) and warming up to the idea of going DIY.

the other vendors that are regularly mentioned here were ruled out for either having too high minimum order quantity or were extremely pushy in comms or they only wanted to use crypto and I dont fuck with crypto anymore. I simply chose amo because to me at the time was the most straight forward to buy from, was affordable and seemed to have a number of users reporting positively here when I name searched the company. When I have more money I plan on trying out other vendors.

frankly if my amo order stings "like lava" as another user in the amo stinging thread reported I will likely discontinue use immediately and continue researching other sources. But there are varying levels of stinging and i dont think it is a terribly unusual side effect of these injections based on what ive seen reported. Not to mention everybody has their own pain tolerance levels. Im a huge bitch when it comes to pain and did not have any on compounded so well see how I fare. Ill be sure to report my result here as well.

I think any legit user without alterior motives should appreciate what I was doing here when calling you out, even if you feel wrongly targeted.

Besides being a new user, you admit you haven't tried amos product yet and are comparing regular isr's to whatever amopure had going on with their problematic batch. These seem like two very different things. Are you just trying to be hopeful about the order you have from them? I guess i could understand that, because I'm in a similar boat with nexa right now, but I'm not going to go defend them against people concerned with their sterility tests.

Anyways, if you are just another fatty, like me, trying to find a reliable source, then I'm sorry for singling you out.
