Just a note since you mentioned protein as a pre-workout: the timing of your protein does not really matter throughout the day, only the total amount. Recent studies have come out showing that. If you need it to not be hungry during a workout that’s different, but in terms of impact on muscle, etc. timing doesn’t matter.I'm quite a bit older and started off a little heavier than you and Tirz has been AMAZING for me so far! I', 6'2" - 55yrs old and started at 386. I started on May 7th with .25 Triz and just moved to .50. I've lost 26lbs in only 5 weeks.
I haven't worked out one time and I sit at a desk working from home all day. I changed my diet drastically and it was extremely easy to do, I just don't crave the fried stuff anymore and I don't have snacks or ANY bad food in the house.
I only eat salads, raw veggies, tomatoe basil soup, mushroom bone broth soup, split pea soup, fresh fruit smoothies with almond milk, or fresh fruits, and almost no meat. I've had a small piece of meat on Sunday's a couple weeks--2-3 small turkey meatballs and a couple strips of skinless chicken breast. Otherwise, I've only eaten what was previously stated and unsalted nuts, protein/high fiber bars.
I added B12 2000mcg in the morning, 225mg of Magnesium Malate in the evening to sleep better, 20g of Collagen protein at lunch for joint and skin care, Casein in the early evening to slowly release protein as I rest and sleep. Whey protein will be added when I start working out as a pre-workout. I will start resistance training soon so I don't have tons of loose skin after the weight is gone. Goal is 215lbs.
I get probably 4-6K steps a day at my job, do not do much strength training, unfortunately. I was 237 and am around 200lb. I really didn’t make any lifestyle modifications and lost that weight in probably 2 months.Soooo....For some background info: I am a 42 y/o Male, 6'2" and weigh 370 pounds. Over the span of 1 year on tirzepatide, what is a realistic estimate of how much weight I could lose? Currently I am pretty sedentary with a desk job, but I actually love to work out, so that wont be a problem. And I am in the middle of planning a realistic diet i can stick with. My big problem in the past has been going hard core with the workouts and cardio to the point where it is just not sustainable and then I give up. Help please!
My only concern with reta is I hear the appetite reduction is nonexistent as well as the help with food noise....what's your experince? Great job on the weightloss!I started tirzepatide in December 2024 at 335lbs (I'm 6'4") and by December 2025 I weighed about 244, so 91lbs or 27% less than my starting weight.

Your starting weight is higher than I was, but if you take the 370lbs and multiply by 27%, you could easily lose about 100lbs in a year on tirzepatide.
BUT, I 100% agree with @woundcarping when he says to consider reta. If I had access to retatrutide in December 2024, I would have definitely done that rather than tirzepatide, and I love tirzepatide.
