Understanding risks involved with suboptimal purity of gray peptides

By her cost, I mean she passed through the cost the lab charges without a markup and I think she may have had a discounted price because she works with them through her job. I also contributed, like $100 I think.
She provided a discount because she said she was doing the analysis herself using the raw data the lab provided.

She’s not a scientist, and shouldn’t be doing that analysis herself. Hence what you described as “pouncing,” I’d describe as “harm reduction.”

She actually is a scientist and I think her motivation was harm reduction. Everyone always tests for mass and purity but she wanted to go beyond HPLC testing to better understand what else is in the vial. She may have been a little over her skis but her intentions were good.

She’s a scientist insofar as we are all scientists here, “researchers.”

Over her skis is an understatement. I think the pouncing was justified, but I’ll leave it there.

It's now in the 2024 peptide drama category. Looking forward to what 2025 brings our community!

She was but she jumped into testing feet first and threw a lot of caution to the wind.
I have access to all of the equipment/materials for testing but not willing to put my career on the line and that is something she should have thought about.
Also, not everyone is equipped to analyze medical/scientific data correctly.
