UPS missing package

Was supposed to get a pkg today but got this message. See attached. Has this happened to you what does this mean. 😫

Btw I did contact the vendor. This is so cruel I just want my stuff. 😭

I would think that if UPS was in possession of the package before they lost it, UPS will have to replace or refund you somehow. Did you speak to anyone?

Unless it's insured, the maximum claim (liability) amount for UPS still seems to be only $100. But UPS is very good for tracing packages compared to USPS. I would be very hopeful still. The sender/seller is normally the one to request the trace.

Also, there has been a slowdown recently with shipping times due to previous storms like tornados in some parts of the country.
