UPS says FDA Prior Notice is needed — anyone here run into this?

My package got held and UPS says FDA Prior Notice may be required. I’m trying to figure out whether that means the shipment was classified incorrectly, or if this is something people here have actually run into before with peptide-related shipments.


For anyone who’s dealt with this:

• who fixed it, sender or receiver?
• was it actually a Prior Notice issue?
• what paperwork or correction was needed?
• did the shipment get released?

Just trying to understand the legit process and what the next move usually is or is this a complete loss?
