wanting to stack sema with reta

I started with sema 0,25 weekly and loved the feeling of appetite suppression and satiety that gave me, so when i decided to try reta i chose not to give up sema. Now I'm currently stacking 2,5 reta on monday and 0,5 sema on thursday. Good appetite suppression and the weight keeps to drop, 3-4 lbs weekly.

I'm on pretty much the same combo, .5 sema as needed for appetite control, usually every 10 days or so, and 2.0 reta once a week. I'm losing about one pound a week which is faster than I want at this point so I may need to drop the sema dose a little bit. I like being able to enjoy what I eat, so I'd rather drop the sema than the reta.

I guess that you don't have much weight left to lose, then I understand your decision to slow down or even to drop sema

would it be suggested to incorporate both sema + reta at low-mod. dosages of each to reap GIP + Glucagon benefits from reta along with appetite suppression from sema?

on 8mg reta currently, and was curious about doing .25mg (or any amount) sema combined with 2-4mg reta for best of both worlds. i’m still ravenous off high reta doses and appetite is an issue. i want to feel satiated and hell, possibly even avoidant of food, because i always end up overeating. sticking to meal plans was always easy for me, even when initially starting reta and dealing with major suppression. i just ate less and didn’t have a single thought about another bite or a snack in-between.

i’m currently 190 lbs looking to drop 10-12lbs more.

reasons why:
-on my current reta dose and higher dosages, im still able to outeat my damn deficit.
-haven’t been able to sleep on my current reta dose. cortisol is sky high presumably due to RHR increase and glucagon, even with diet breaks.
-slept wonky on tirz aswell.
-reta at high doses (10-12) isn’t the best cost wise long term, and i have a script for ozempic anyways so sema is basically on hand and dirt cheap for me.
-Reta hasn’t given me that true app. suppression. i enjoy the glucagon benefits and also love the 9x stronger GIP factor on it compared to tirz. stacking it with tirz seemed pointless to me
-cagri made me fall asleep behind the wheel and hit a stop sign. NEVER touching it again. calling me a poor responder to it would be an understatement, lol

any advice from people who’ve experimented with stacked GLPs is appreciated. thank you.
I’ve stacked Reta w/tirz. Sema didn’t work for me at all- got the appetite suppression but the weight didn’t budge. This was when I was using compound, so they switched me to tirz after 8 weeks. Stayed on tirz a long time, but between extreme fatigue, EXTREME constipation and food tasting bad, I switched to Reta. It worked much more slowly and then I stalled. I’ve also tried “ghetto Reta- Tirz plus servodutide. Not sure if I’d recommend it; keeping the servo for maintenance, when I get there. Currently on a combo of Tirz 5/reta 5; was losing better w/o the Tirz sides. Stalled again, so I just added a microdose of Setmelanotide as a stall breaker. Only sleep issue I have had was Tirz had me so exhausted I was sleeping unless I was at work or doing something I had to do- so most of the time! Set gives me energy, so that is nice. Anyway- yes, many people stack GLPs for various reasons, so give it a try!

That's what I've been doing. Here's a link to where I discussed my journey so far including my dosing schedule. ---> here <---

Although in hindsight I do think that my very first dose of reta was .5mg and the following week I upped it to 1mg. My food noise was controlled from the very beginning and I think sema and reta go very well together. You probably don't even need that much and you could drop your reta dose by quite a bit.
I’m currently on wegovy prescription as well and I’m looking to stack.

I’m doing 2.4mg of wegovy. Do you recommend I start with 0.25mg of Reta or 0.5? How did you react? Did you feel sick and nauseous?

anybody on 2.4mg of sema and 0.25 or 0.5mg of Reta?

I want to start stacking this Monday, starting with wegovy. Since my insurance still covers it, I want to take full advantage until my refill runs out.

While everyone is different, I think the most noticeable side effect with reta is skin sensitivity. The best way I can describe it is feeling like you have a minor sunburn. Not a full on pain, more of a constant irritation. I didn't get that in the first month or so, then I had it for a few months and then it was gone entirely. It was weird.

Anyway. Yeah, you could probably start out with the .5mg dose and be fine.

Thank you so much Queen 👸

Did you experience any heart rate increase or loss of sleep under Reta? Or any gastro irritation initially from the stacking?

How are you doing in terms of weight? Are you still losing?

No noticeable heart rate changes and nothing with my digestion. I have lost about 70 pounds at this point and seem to have stalled for the last few months according to the scales .. BUT .. I think I am still burning fat because my pants seem looser. Hard to say at the moment. Might just be all in my head. I'm not going to worry about it just yet as we head into spring I will probably be more active in the nicer weather.

Congratulations on your success!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Please continue posting and let us stay updated on your journey 🙏

ive taken sema, tirz, reta. cagri with tirz and cagri with reta. I'm really feeling like reta and sema with possible cagri may be my perfect concoction. Reta just allows me the ability to eat too much and i'm eating too much of the wrong things. I was taking 05. cagri on sat and 5mg reta on wed. i may increase the reta to 6mg and add sema 0.25-0.5 and see where that lands me. i'm thinking i may not even need the cagri but if i do ill add .25 or .375

I took .25mg of Sema this past Thursday on a considerably higher dose Reta… I expected to take .25mg twice in the first week.

On reflection, I should have taken .125mg for my first dose. I’ve had no long lasting bleh feeling taking Reta or Tirz, but Sema has been bleh city, the worst being yesterday afternoon. Bleh enough I held off on my Reta dose last night until I level out.

Can always pin again if you need more, but if you pin more to start with you have to ride it out.
