Well I finally did it. Not pleasant.

I hit a blood vessel this morning when pinning 50 mg of NAD. I felt something a little more than tissue when pinning and a small silver dollar sized area turned black and blue almost instantly. I did everything the way I always do, but a little unlucky. No pain no weird side effects. Just a huge bruise and the gross feeling on hitting the small blood vessel.

It happens. I've done it twice in a row now and before that not even once for 6 months.

Not gross just different. The plunger on my pen didn't go as easy as usual but I didn't want to re-stab myself so I just continue only slower. Not as big bruise this time. It's on my leg and those are bruised all over anyway.

So, are you guys saying that you injected right into the blood vessel, or that you just pierced/nicked it?

For me I pierced it. It bled and turned into a bad bruise instantly. I also slowed. I’ve heard if you go into the vein you will get super sick and it can incapacitate you super fast. I’m glad I know what it feels like. I think if it happened again I’d pull the needle out and redo with another dose and syringe in a different area.
