After reading this thread I am so sad for US healthcare, being charged for bringing up something, getting insurance rates hiked up (gotta support ACA, you guys), only bringing up the acute symptom of the moment.
But it’s important that they know about some of the real effects of these things… though honestly we could all wish they knew a whole lot more. Some of my docs are more open minded than others but most everyone is biased against the unknown [to them].
You can try to say that this info is confidential and yoi don’t want it charted… donmt know if that’s possible nowadays with providers who are beholden to corporate rules.
I’d take their temperature and just say I was on a compounded [approved] glp thru telehealth instead of gray glp. For peptides many are approved in ukraine or russia, I think they’re even otc, I’d say I was taking some that a relative from an eastern european gifted you and it works. Bet it will get dismissed. (Someone posted an ER visit and having to think about what to say to get appropriate help and not be labeled a druggie. At least we all have COAs. CN is that big mysterious country full of mysterious chinese medicines god only knows what’s in them and in the US we only hear about it when the FDA finds the amazing antiinflammtory herbal has been cut with steroids 🤣… and well it turns out I have a CN relative that gifted me some traditional medicine powders that seem to be helping, who knows what’s in them, it might be placebo, but I couldn’t read the packaging so I threw it away. In a way what we take isn’t worse than the crazy “natural” supplements and natural nostrums that arr available online officially, bypassing FDA monitoring or concern altogether.
And if they make you feel you legit can’t do even this withtoit repercussions, it’s probably time to think about whether a different doctor might be a better fit tp your needs. (Not that it’s easy to find.)
