What dose of reta are you at?

I am on week 20 of using Reta and I'm at 7.5mg (-ish).

I started at 2.5mg and progressed to 5mg after 4 weeks and then to my current dosage of 7.5mg after another 4 weeks. I wish I'd slowed down my dosage titration a bit as I was having success at the lower dosages. With that, I've decided to stay at this dosage until I hit a major plateau/stall point in my weight loss.

Just finished the 4th 4mg pin Friday. I think I'll jump to 5mg next Friday after jumping on the scale this morning, only lost a pound, but no big deal. There's been no issues with the 4mg pins.

I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.
I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.

So my question is:
How long have you been taking Reta for?
Where along are you in your journey?
What is your current dosage?
My research lab rat has been taking Reta for about 5 months, and is currently using 5mg every third day. It is more than half way through its journey.

I'm sticking with 4mg for at least two more weeks. I jumped on the scale right out of bed this morning at 5, and after a pee and had a total drop of 3 pounds since last weeks weigh in. I know what happened yesterday. I didn't weigh myself right away, and had two coffees, a big glass of water and was fully dressed. Seems to be a pretty close to a constant 3lbs a week. I'm down 22lbs since 1/6.

I'm at 2.5mg every 5 days. At maintenance weight and metabolic blood markers and planning on switching to Tirz as Reta, even at this low dose, has jacked my resting heart rate 10-12BPM which I don't like nor think is healthy long term.

I've been on reta for >3 years, but I try to stay around the same weight, and I'm at 2.5mg a week maintenance. I could drop it probably, but gives me some safeguards, especially when I bulk for physique changes.

I am 3 weeks and 2 days in. 2mg each week will increase to 4mg next week for 4 weeks and so on. SO far I dropped from 164lbs to 151lbs

It must affect people different ways. Mines be running 72, which is normal for me. I'm anywhere from 54 to 74 BPM sleeping.

Started Nov30,2025 at 1mg. Did nothing or i was just too impatient. Bumped it to 2mg for about 3 weeks. Bumped it to 2.5mg for 2 more weeks. Then to 3mg for 5 weeks. Then to 4mg in February and I have no intentions of moving up. The only reason I went to 4mg from 3,g was that I heard someone say that the full effects were not effective until you hit 4mg. So, I am going to stay here for quite a while.
I am 55yo and started at 275lbs. I weighed 224 this morning. Have had lab work done periodically through the VA and typically my cholesterol was high where it shouldn't be (they wanted me on meds but I refused to take them) and low where it should be high. A1C was off. I was generally unhealthy. Just had labs done and every marker is great. This has changed my life.

Weeks 1 - 5: 2mg
Weeks 6 - 7: 1mg (to test hunger signalling + loss rate. Still steady, but slower rate with more hunger signalling.)
Weeks 8 - 9: 2mg

I'm a couple pounds from goal, so Reta will drop to 1mg again for 2 weeks, then .5mg for 2 weeks, then .25mg for 2 weeks.

Once complete, I will likely test pinning .1mg 1-2x per week to finish the vial, and take the edge off of hunger if I find it bothersome.

For reference: 17 lb loss in 9 weeks, with muscle sparring (and even gain). 🎉

I was on Tirz for about 6 months. I had gotten up to about 6mg once per week. I took a few weeks off to allow my digestive system to finally get back to regular. Then I went to 2 mg for the first week and 3mg for the 2nd week. I'll probably stay at 3mg for another week or two and then go to 4 mg for a month then to 6mg depending on how I tolerate it.

I started at 2mg for my first 4 weeks. Today I started my 5th week and upped it to 3mg. My first 2 weeks I had very bad side effects ( insomnia, no appetite, constipation) with my starting dose of 2mg. The last 2 weeks I felt the food noise coming back mid week so I decided to up it 1 mg in hopes it helps without all the side effects I started with

So I started my Reta journey on February 27th so its only been a bit over a week for me. I started with 1mg but it seems 1mg/ twice a week is best for me. Doesnt COMPLETELY destroy my food noise but its more than enough so far. Also, I got to make 5.5mg last until my next shipment lol.

started end of november with 0.5mg. every two weeks i titrated up.
1mg-2mg-3mg-4mg for a long time over 5 weeks. two weeks ago i go up to 5mg.
in the 2nd week of my reta journey i added 4 days after the reta inject, low dose of sema.
feeling very good right now. still have to loose 15kilos

Started 5mg (10th pin total) this morning and weighed myself for kicks at 5AM. Down 25lbs in 10 weeks. Tuesday is my normal weigh in. Average 2.5lbs/week.

I'm on my 5th week and hit 3mg this week. I'm going up each week .5 mg until 4mg. I would titrate more slowly but I have so many foot and knee issues I need to drop 40 lbs as fast as possible. I'm 55, 5'11 278 lbs, dropped 8 lbs the first week from appetite suppression. I have metabolic adaptation from keto, fasting and strict dieting for many years. 3 weeks under 1000 calories doesn't move the scale. I've fasted 3 days multiple times a month on carnivore with intermittent fasting under 1200 calories a day... Nothing. So will it surprise me if I have to throw the kitchen sink at this thing? Btw I'm trying to hit 150g protein and resistance train to failure several times a week. I've got a lot of muscle under there I'm looking forward to actually seeing it someday.

8 mg in month 5. I'm still losing.
Welp, I weighed under 200 lbs today for the first time since my Senior year in highschool, in 1976. Down 62 lbs, and I've been on 10 mg the past 6 weeks, for a total of 6.5 months on Reta. I may try for another 10 lbs to get rid of these stubborn areas, like under my arms and pooch. Or I may just be stuck with it my age. Now I'm off to buy some summer shorts now, waist size 32". 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Keep going everyone!!

Wow, Congratulations!!! Enjoy those new shorts & new size!! 🙂

This is my first time taking a GLP. I lost 55lbs on my own but I hit a plateau. On 1/5/26 when I started reta weekly, I was at 0.5mg. Slowly worked my way up and this week I pinned 3.75mg. The last few weeks I have noticed my appetite isn't as controlled as it was previously, but I am still losing 1-2lbs per week. The only side effects I ever had was the sulfur stomach, slight constipation and extreme exhaustion but that's all passed now. The other day I had that sunburn effect in a couple of spots on my body but it only lasted for a day and it wasn't that bad. I am going to see if higher doses help but I am thinking of adding tirz but IDK, maybe it's a good thing still having an appetite. I wanna make sure I get enough protein in so not to lose too much muscle.

Over the course of a year I got up to 15mg Tirz. Switched to Reta about 8 months ago.. just started 10mg this past week. I have finally started losing again after being stalled since April of 2025. My body just didn't want to go under 160 (5'3" F) but Reta and 1mg of Cagri has changed things for me.
