8 mg in month 5. I'm still losing.
I was originally on 3mg / week or Tirz and my provider had me switch to 4mg / week of Reta. I have since titrated up to 6mg / week and after reading one of your previous posts have now added back in 2mg / week of Tirz. starting this week. I stalled on my weight loss ever since the switch to Reta, but it was during the holidays.7mg tirz friday mornings, 5mg of reta monday mornings. I am NEVER actually hungry, and thats fine, cause i can always eat. 3 to 4 pounds dissolving off me every week.
Ive seen reta and tirz mixed in 1 or more vendors kits too, calling it a "burn blend" and holy fuck it works great.
I probably dont need as much as i take, but my sides are seriously minimal and my whole life is now about losing the weight asap.
Nice! Also, i should add that i often fast from 6pm sunday through 6pm tuesdays when I plateau. But stacking these two with fasting just destroys the fatI was originally on 3mg / week or Tirz and my provider had me switch to 4mg / week of Reta. Im also on the more aggressive side since I didn’t get any sides even with max dose sema, I went up to 4mg pretty quickly. Curious, did you experience any sides at all with Reta?
My doctor, who is an expert for mounjaro said, that overweight people have much lower GLP1 in there System, than average gym bros. So they need much more.I'm keen to get an opinion from some of the longstanding or experienced members.
Seems that Reta is working well at lower doses than the trials , much lower .
I'm wondering if this is symptomatic that members here may be starting out at initial weights far lower than the manufacturer trials .
Thus a 350 pound starter may need the higher dose to have an effect , simply due to larger body mass . They may require up to 9-12mg
Thus someone starting at 200 pounds may not need that much and 2-4mg would have similar effects.
This seems reasonable, if starting weight was150 pounds I can't see that higher does would be needed simply by virtue of the lower body mass.
I'm new here this is just an observation from some of the experiences I've seen here . I could be totally wrong , and I'm happy to admit I make more mistakes than most .
@woundcarping what's the app you're using?I’m leveling off at 7mg/week after starting my bridge from Tirz on 1/10.

Part of it is the starting BMI. I started at in January 2023 at 336 and lost naturally to 318. Started sema in July 2023 and Lost to 211 after reaching 3mg in July 2025. Slowly crept back up to 224 since mid 2025 to end of 2025. Now stacking 4mg Reta and 1mg sema at 218 and trying to battle the last 30 pounds off. Considering using Tesofensine in Reta does not work. The issue is most people reach a stasis even with weight loss surgery and it takes a lot to break it. I lost 30%+ of BMI which is considered excellent based on most research out there. Getting to 40%+ of BMI lost is really hard even using weight loss surgery and GLP-1 combined.
I just finished 4 weeks at 2mg. Lost 16.8 lbs. No food noise and I can eat macros. I was tempted to go to 4mg but was feeling the 2mg well so stayed at 2mg.I'm keen to get an opinion from some of the longstanding or experienced members.

1mg per week, 0.5 mg monday and thursday in the morningWeek 9, I am now on 1mg every 3 days. Due to the half life, this maintains approx a 3mg saturation.
Hey, TRS123. I'm in week 5 of 2mg. 52yrs, same height and 210lb for starting weight. How did you know you lost muscle. I'm obviously cautious about not losing muscle but I'm not "muscle-y". I don't body build. I have muscle from a life of physical work (truck loading/ live event install and tear down). When I started my GLP journey in Jan of 2025 I was using compounded Tirz had no idea of Grey then. Starting weight 215 m. 5'9" 58 yr old one year later at target weight of 165
The rub is a lot of the weight I lost was muscle.
The fact that it is subtle loss of muscle makes it hard to recognize it is happening. I was never muscle-y either but average strength from physical work. After a year I know I’m not as strong when I working and my thigh muscle get stained quickly when carry things up a set of steps. My arm strength and muscle mass is down quite a bitHey, TRS123. I should say that I'm rocking the high protein /low carb with whole foods and protein shakes.
I walk daily, do yoga in the mornings and do leg strengthening that my PT has me on.
Should I do more resistance? I'm open to it for sure. The yoga, for me, is a lot of push up style moves and position holding where I feel the burn.
A question to the group, how would I track subtle muscle loss?
