Greetings!

So my shipment from the US warehouse was sent 3/17 and it was due to arrive here on the west coast at my place around 3/23/25. Then, nothing. then the tracking system says "In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late". It has said this since 3/27/25. I contacted Lisa at Shanghai Senria and the story I got was that the warehouse had contacted USPS and was told that things are still moving along. However, there have been NO updates now for 10 days at least.

Fortunately (I suppose) this was paid for on Alibaba. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? How did you all handle this? I really don't want to have to file some sort of missing package form and again, would prefer that Shanghai Senria handles this and just reships from the US warehouse.

I would prefer that a new shipment be sent. I have had this happen one other time in the good old QSC days and Tracy at that point reshipped things after 14 days of no movement. The same sort of thing happened then....no real updates for days....

Your thoughts are appreciated! I saw in the past that people had also contacted Alan, the owner, when there were issues. Thoughts on that?

This is exactly why I wish SRY offered Priority Mail or UPS rather than just USPS Ground Advantage. With packages from my relatives or other businesses, I have seen Ground Advantage packages being routed almost backwards during transit. And, to me, the longer a package is in the system, the more likely it will be lost or damaged (Newman!).

To e-mail your local post office (so they can trace the package):

So, this is happening A LOT right now! I have 3 packages from India that have been in limbo for over a week, but domestic is crawling as well. It has something to do with the canned Postmaster Louis Dejoys “Delivering for America plan.” Something new kicked in on April 1, which is slowing things down dramatically. USPS has sucked for decades. Hopefully this will push some innovation in the private sector logistics industry. I digress…

I understand how frustrating it is. Give it a little time. If these are the reasons, there is nothing any vendor can do unless they start going with FedEx or UPS.

Looks like DOGE is also cutting some of the bloat within the agency.

I would reach out to Alan on the SRY discord with the tracking info and ask him how long you have to wait until they reship. I would also include your salesperson in the message.

My guess is USPS will get it to you or return it to them, it will probably just take a while.

This happened to me, in fact to a vial I was donating for a group test! I had to initiate a lost mail search, and what do you know, they magically found it like 4 days later. It arrived to its intended destination, thankfully. Sometimes putting in an official "lost mail" search makes them go looking in corners or whatever black holes packages get lost in.

This! It is amazing how fast they can find packages when you start the lost mail process.

You don't want to use FedEx or UPS for anything that can be confiscated. Private companies can just open your packages.

Certain classes of mail via USPS can't be opened without a warrant or something like a leak/etc.
