I am a newbie here, and I've been on sema for about 6 months. Initially buying from telehealth companies, and then fairly recently I purchased lyophilized sema 10mg from a seller often mentioned here. I've been reading the forum like a good student, but here are some questions I still don't have answers to.

- Do I store lyophilized sema in a (regular) freezer or at ambient temp? Different opinions, and based on everything I've read, inconclusive. There are concerns with moisture if stored in a freezer, or how would peptides "behave" at such low temperatures, but who knows?

- What is the shelf life of lyophilized sema (either in a freezer or at ambient)? I've asked my supplier, but (of course) they did not respond. How about the shelf life and storing of bac water and reconstituted sema (or other products)?

- What about syringe filters? I bought them, but I don't think I will be using them. Very few of us do, it seems.

- I'm on my last doze of compounded, and a bit nervous as I'm about to start reconstituting my self.

These are truly products for research purposes, and at times I feel like a guinea pig.

I would freeze the powder for sterility purposes more than anything. And heaven forbid you use the filters you already purchased :)

BAC water is best stored at room temperature, even for much later use.

Welcome. It is good to be nervous. This is research. You will find the 'official' recommendations from Eli, Novo, Hospira, NIH and all their publications. A solid start. Then you will find folks with high risk tolerance and a passion for gambling. I keep one year supply of lyop. vials in a cube freezer, 120+ vials of all kinds. I buy Hospira Bac and also cheap Bac. I often keep recon in the fridge for 7-8 weeks. I buy other recon supplies from Walmart. What is your tolerance limit? I just started adding Epithalon to my daily regiment. Wow. Immune reaction. Last year, my AST/ALT almost went off the chart (Quest) due to various pep 'cocktails' I tried. Be informed. Take notes on what you do. Do try filtering, and then write down how many steps it took and how many more opportunities it created to contaminate your recon. If you doubt your supplier, filter ( I am not a doctor or a medical professional of any kind). For the first pin, write down the step you plan to take to recon. A 'dress rehearsal'. You feel like a Guinea pig. ok. Think of what real researchers tried on Monkeys... Your experiment will end well. Should be more worried about the known side effects and be ready. Those can be quite annoying. BTW, lyophilized means freeze dried, and the vials are sealed, under vacuum. What moisture?

Freeze the powder. It is freeze-dried and under vacuum, there is no moisture in there to start with and the freezer is not going to inject new moisture through the glass and rubber.
