Why is group testing a baron wasteland?

If its the most important thing we are told and the community says it tries to keep others safe as priority number one. Why is there only 3 total post with test results?

Is all the testing being done but the results are kept secret?

The group testing section is relatively new, and limited to groups that aren't arranging testing for profit.

Many groups keep their test results confidential, most for a defined period after results are received before releasing them to the public who did not help pay for the tests.

I just sent off some TIR30 to get tested, when i get the results back I will post the results to help contribute towards a pinch of transparency 🙂

Barren.

There's a big chasm between how many buyers view the buy/test process, and how it works in reality.

We go in thinking we want to buy what's already been third-party tested and we know the results.

In reality, all that matters (and it's no guarantee of consistency anyway) is what is from the same batch (usually a run of "canning," meaning mixing the API raw material with fillers, adding colored caps, and lyophilizing them).

By the time something's been third-party tested, the vendor is almost always shipping the next batch (or later); additionally, the salesperson is not with the inventory and has no control over which batch ships (although they'll happily lie to you about it).

Add to this the fact that most vendors won't use meaningful batch numbers or dates, won't change cap colors with each batch, will print out small runs of kit labels with recent dates, regardless of the batch, etc. etc. etc. and it's a very frustrating scenario. But still generally worth relying on third-party testing rather than jabbing blind.

Where third-party testing really matters is to get a sense of the vendor overall. There have been some who sold zero-peptide vials...how did they handle those post-sales? There have been some who usually overfill by a significant margin ... do you want to use your kit and adjust based on "feelz" if it might be 30% overfilled?

There are third-party testing communities which you should join and support financially (even if you haven't bought the specific product being tested). The easiest one to start with is Flying Purple Pep Guild ... I'm not sure if link-posting in the Public Square sub-forum is allowed.

Plenty of groups that do group testing. They're just not advertising/recruiting on this forum, the majority of them are in telegram, or discord.

There's been some testing groups here. Zipp doesn't want folks sending money to another member cuz someone can easily organize 5 different vendor test groups and take your money.... we ran one with every member sending their cut (determined by number of members splitting the cost) directly to Janos payment app/agency.... dont remember but think there were alternatives to crypto.

Problem is you get 15 people say they're in and then 4 duck out, so the test money is short and someone has to volunteer to pay the difference or no testing.

Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free? The successful testing groups understand this concept and don’t hand out results, as that removes the inventive for participation. And by definition a group test model only works with active participants.

So if you want group test results, you need to join a testing group. You can’t just wait for the results to materialize for free out of the aether.

LS Testing currently has 796 members and is growing every day. We have received results on 15 tests since October 23rd and have 22 in recruitment or awaiting results as of this moment. We started as 2 people who wanted to test our own NAD+ from Jeep. Not all our results are public as they belong to our members. Those that have been released are listed here for the community's benefit. We also do not post to recruit for tests of vendors that are not forum sponsors, out of respect for Zip and the forum, though these tests are happening more and more.

As a platform, we were the first given access to the area of the forum as we have proven to Zip that we are running strictly on a non-profit basis for the good of the community, which isn't something all GBOs and group test organisers do.

Many group tests are done as a result of group buys so you'll find them there rather than posting on forums - I personally have an issue with the ones where they charge 5-10% 'fees' to all participants and then claim they're in it for community safety while pocketing a few grand. Summer and I were determined to never be that - we want to keep group testing costs at their lowest whilst testing a broad range of things. We have set up deals with Janoshik and Liquilabs to bring testing prices down, and credit deals from a variety of vendors to support group testing where results are shared after the fact with the vendors. All this means people can participate without being ripped off by some GBP who wants to make a pay cheque out of their members.

It's been a lot of fun, a lot of stress, and a lot of learning for us. Anyone who wishes to join the community and get involved in testing is welcome to send me a DM.

My vendor (jeep) posts links to jano tests for their batches. I've been lucky enough that the products I received from them so far has been tested and they have the links on their discord servers. I don't use the products immediately as I have some stock but the test links always show up for what I'm looking for.

I'm fairly new and trust that the reports are legit as they are direct links to jano and not just PDFs. Maybe I'm missing something.

You're missing that what Jeep send to Jano is not necessarily what Jeep sends to customers.

You're missing that Jeep might be discarding any test results that have turned out to be unfavorable.

You're missing that second-party testing has nearly no value whatsoever, at least for the end-customer. Hopefully a vendor uses them for keeping their suppliers honest and competent.

What youre missing is that a vendor has an incentive for the test to be good. If they have a bad test they won’t release it, therefore you should only expect good vendor tests. They can also cherry pick which vials they send, or say a test is from one batch when it is in fact from another. Vendor tests are basically useless.

I'm leading two test groups, one on TG and one on Discord, and both are challenging recruiting folks and getting people to respond to stuff, so it's a lot of work. One group was finally up to 10 paying folks and the StG server was nuked.... 🙄🙄🙄 The other group we're at the "pay now" phase, so that should be interesting...

If you're looking to join test groups then look on Flying Purple Peptide Group's telegram channel and also StG's telegram channel. StG had a discord server, but it was nuked.

Noted. Thanks!

That's because you are brand new to the forum and haven't yet been around long enough to earn DM privileges. As a general rule, that's also a good indicator that you still have some learning to do before jumping into the deep end of group buying and testing.

Hang around and do lots of reading and engaging on here. DM privileges will open up soon and it's a sign to me someone has done the minimum engagement to be a good candidate for LS membership.

I did think so! Bloody newbies! 😂
I am just background scrolling at the moment, but trying to find somebody UK based who knows decent sources/ accepts other payments other than crypto!
I shall be around for much longer, eager to get started, but I definitely need to brush up first.

Happens constantly on Meso. Vendor test cyp 250 comes in at 252mg..... user jano test says 213mg.

He arranged it so you can't say the word b e e without it being changed to Brutus thE Enforcer.... I posted about a glutathione injection stinging like a b e e for 20 seconds and it tags Brutus lol.
Ironically, I just turned that off earlier today while adding some new twists to the swear filter...

You'll be fine. Give it a little bit... you'll find sources and fellow citizens to hook you up. They gotta make sure your not a glp1 agent.

This. Gold standard is for you the individual send in a lab test. You know what you send, which lab you send to and results get sent straight to you. No detours, scams or shady process. A bit pricey yes.

I am UK based. Plenty of us here and in LS so keep doing what you're doing and engaging and you will find we are all pretty helpful!

Unfortunately, you're not likely to find a vendor who takes other payments anymore. Those halcyon days are behind us now!

That seams reasonable. Seems like there’s a lot that goes into it behind the scenes. So probably nice or have some form of bare minimum requirement to look on before bothering with new people.

Your comments were informative and well thought out. I’ll keep an eye out for more of your posts.

Cheers.

Thanks, and yeah - my partner has crypto so I might have to hit them up about it
