Started with compounded Tirzepatide and exploited its appetite suppression by OMAD fasting (painlessly, it came naturally). Discovered grey market around Christmas, and in January 2026 added Retatrutide while reducing Tirz. Found that my appetite came back strong, so I added Cagrilintide. Then found that Reta was causing an unpleasant side effect called allodynia (I may have titrated up to quickly). Dropped Reta and resumed Tirz, keeping Cagrilintide. Allodynia faded away over the course of 3 weeks. Now slowly adding Reta back into the mix because I suspect it's superior to Tirz, if I play it right this time. I am a split doser, pinning every other day, but never exceeding a combined serum concentration of 12.5mg. I calculate serum concentration using half-life stats. I think of 15mg as my ace in the hole in case I stall (which hasn't happened yet).

I am a few weeks from GW and thinking that either Tirz or Reta may have to be part of my maintenance strategy. But if I can maintain weight GLP1-free, with OMAD and exercise alone, I'll choose that. I still plan to use other peptides to help with fat-burning, fitness, and recovery.

Downside: I had a whole bunch of clothes I'd stored away for 10 years: pants with 34 waist and shirts that were XL. They finally they fit in March, but I was only able to use them during a window of about 3 weeks. Now they're all too loose!

Started Tirz Dec 1st Sw 259 Cw 199 have also used Reta alongside Tirz on offset days.
I'm interested in your combination of tirz and reta. Could you give more Information on this combo? What motivated you to stack these two? I'm curious and possibly looking to exactly that. 58m and down 32lbs on tirz @ 6.6mg.

Urolithin A, creatine, rhodiola, ephedra, citrulline malate, glutamine, nitro wood.

I’d like to know, in this order:
1. What dose of Tirz you had reached.

2. How long the bridge phase from Tirz to Reta lasted, and in detail how you managed the dosing during that transition.

3. Whether, as your current Reta dose seems to suggest, you can confirm that you didn’t experience strong side effects with either Tirz or Reta.

I’m trying to make this transition myself, but it seems impossible. For context, I had issues and strong side effects with Tirz, and in six months I only reached 2.75 mg. With the first 2.5 mg dose, taken somewhat naively, I genuinely thought I was risking gastroparesis, I restarted at 1 mg.

No strong adverse sides. I did get a bit of allodynia earlier on, some GI issues when I first tried to get 8mg 2x week. I backed down to 7mg for one dose, I plan on taking 8mg again tomorrow. Sleep has been fractured a bit but I'm sustaining decent levels with some effort/discipline.

These should mostly answer the rest of the questions.

I feel the same kind of fatigue, for me it still hasn’t eased.
It doesn’t make you a bad mom at all, it just means your body is carrying a lot while you’re trying to take care of yourself.
Losing weight is still gaining health, for you and for your kids. And even if this phase feels heavy, you’re doing something important for yourself.
I've read that it improves over time, or at least eases once things stabilize, when your body settles, the dose stops increasing, and you get closer to maintenance... but I'm starting to have serious doubts lol
I appreciate your encouragement! While I'm not glad you're slogging through the same mire, I am glad I'm not alone!

I had lost around 30 pounds and stalled. Added Reta at around 1mg then a couple weeks in 2mg and backed off Tirz dose slightly. This gave mild energy boost and got the pounds coming off again. Sometimes I may do a couple weeks Reta only but then side effects get to me and I'll go back to Tirz and a few days later pin some Reta. Hope this makes sense as I am sleepy lol.
Good Luck in you efforts

My weight journey:
It’s a chaotic series with too many plot twists and no budget for continuity.

Mason gastroplasty at 85 kg / 188 lbs
-> reach goal weight in 2 years, main‑character energy.

Then:
-> regain to 70 kg / 154 lbs
-> back to 55 kg / 120 lbs with the Mediterranean diet
-> regain to 65 kg / 144 lbs
-> depression after my sister passed away (very young, cancer)
-> weight launches itself to 108 kg / 238 lbs like a SpaceX test flight

Kidney cancer surgery
-> Mediterranean diet takes me from 108 kg / 238 lbs to 55 kg / 120 lbs
-> regain to 75 kg / 165 lbs
-> back to 55 kg / 120 lbs with keto

Then I try keto again and my metabolism is like:
“Error 404: Metabolism not found.”
Dead. Buried. Decomposed.
Ghost mode: floating above me whispering,
“Girl… stop embarrassing yourself.”

I could starve, reverse diet, live at the gym…
The scale:
“You made bad choices before, don’t drag me into this.”

After 3–4 weeks of cosmic hunger, food noise goes full nightclub:
bread! pasta! pizza! cheese! sweets!
My brain = Coachella.

In Italy I can’t get Tirz: not diabetic + “only” 20 kg / 44 lbs overweight = denied.
Not considered “GLP‑1 obesity” unless you collect comorbidities like Pokemon cards.

I don’t do grey.
Grey is a color, not a lifestyle.

Then my Romanian friend goes:
“Come to Bucharest, we fix this.”

So I fly back to Italy with Lily pens in my suitcase, sweating like a drug mule and praying:
“God please don’t let them confiscate ANYTHING.”

First Tirz pin on November 1st, 2025 weight: 75 kg / 165 lbs.
Instant enlightenment.
Love. Devotion.
For the first time since adolescence, I felt NORMAL.

Then I fell in love with grey…
but that’s Season 2.
That whole post reads like a full series, plot twists, dark moments, and somehow still stinking funny 😂

But seriously, that’s a lot to carry. Massive swings, real life loss, cancer, and still getting back up every time. The fact you’ve gone from 108 kg down to the 50s multiple times says everything. This was never about effort; it’s been your biology fighting you on the back end.

The way you wrote it too…“brain = Coachella,” “SpaceX test flight,” “Error 404 metabolism not found”…That humor hits because it’s real. A lot of people feel that but can’t put it into words like that.😊

And that “instant normal” after starting Tirz… that’s the part that sticks. When the noise finally shuts off and it’s not a constant fight; It changes everything.

Respect for sharing all of it. That’s the kind of post people read and think, “yeah… that’s me too.”

Definitely here for Season 2 👀

Had Weight Loss Surgery in 09, got down to 250lbs. Got back up to 392 about 3 years ago, blah blah something something. Started Compounded Tirz 2.5 yrs ago at 325, got me down to 210 and Reta got me to 176. Usually able to maintain 180ish, with 1mg of Tirz & 1mg of Reta weekly. Fun fact: I'm mid 50's (not fun) my weight loss surgeon is the one who got me onto Grey Market peptides and I was never Diabetic.
My surgeon is how I ended up on tirz as well, food noise was silenced!

I have been losing 1-2lbs a week the entire time I have been on reta, no matter what my diet has been like the previous week. Since I have been at 4mg, I have noticed more body recomposition. I can actually see the muscles in my arms getting bigger. Weird thing is, I don't train hard at all.
That is what I am hoping for by adding in reta.

Male, 36

Started on March 1st with 81 kg (178.5 lbs)

Week 7: two days in a row the scale showed me 76,5 kg (167.5 lbs)

I never have been so lean in my life, 2,5-3 mg Reta on a weekly basis with Cardarine before working out.

I guess it needs 74 kg (163.1 lbs) and my love handles will completely disappear.

I am on reta for a month, in the last two weeks i los 3kg, i have lose others before these 2 but they were definitely liquid.

1 year without a drink of alcohol 😁 weight body comp numbers are good!

I started by quitting alcohol and researching then acquiring compounded tirzepatide. I started by micro-dosing..
After micro-low dosing for several months I then added reta to increase the speed of loss,
also very low dose, titrating up slowly. Max of each was 3mg each week total of 6mg
I never had uncomfortable side effects, just the odd skin crawling with reta was weird and went away.

I also follow a wfpb diet 90% I also eat fish 1-2 a week.

That’s an incredible transformation; huge respect for the discipline, especially the year alcohol-free. The steady, low-dose approach clearly worked for you, and your numbers show it.

That’s pretty solid and everything that I’m trying to do besides the HITT which I would love to do!

So diid you do 1mg 4 weeks > 2mg 4 weeks > 3mg 2 weeks so far?

We almost have the same start day!!

I noticed that!

I have been taking a “low and slow” approach to dosing, and going up only when I feel the food noise reduction start to lessen. I started at 1mg for the first 5 weeks, then went up to 2mg for 4 weeks, now on 3mg for the 2nd week.

I am aiming to keep going up by 1mg every 4-5 weeks, and hoping to cap out at 6mg, if I even need to go that high.

This is my first run through with all of this so just listening to my body really.

The food noise reduction has been profoundly effective for me, and my diet has helped keep me regular, so no real side effects happening. At this point I don’t think I’ll need to go up much higher before I hit my goal, but we’ll see.

Overall I’m just blown away by the efficacy.

You sound like you have a solid plan in place! I am going pretty hard into the exercise routine, which honestly, may be the wrong approach, as it mimics past weight cycles where I go all in and then stop because it’s unsustainable longterm… I told myself this journey would be about building sustainable habits… I don’t see myself continuing this routine weekly forever. But feeling great so very happy right now.

Lots of luck and success to you on your research journey!

Started reta 6 weeks ago at 0.5mg every 3 days for a month, then titrated up to 1mg every 3 days for the past two weeks. Hitting +/-1800kcal with a minimum of 100g protein daily.

I tried Noom and went from 165lbs to 150lbs, but only maintained the weight loss for a couple of weeks before I rocketed back up to 170. I tried intermittent fasting, but it was too easy to overeat even with one or two meals a day for me. Through all of this I was still drinking too much.

Now I track my calories and macros with Gemini and reta makes the caloric deficit way more tolerable.

I will say I don't know what my goal weight is. I am an avid rock climber and have performed well at weights ranging from 135-145. 135 seemed too skinny, but I had the best season of climbing I'd ever had (it was also 14 years ago). It also seems that reta is allowing me to maintain muscle mass while losing the fat, so my goal weight might actually be higher than I expected once I hit the BF% I'm looking for.

I Started Reta research at 2 mg and I’m coming up on week 4. I’m still undecided whether to follow the Lilly 2–4–6 titration or just increase as needed. So far I’m losing about 2.5 lbs per week, which feels pretty optimal. I do go back and forth after reading posts about glucagon effects at higher doses and people saying the “sweet spot” is 6–8 mg, but it’s hard to argue with the results I’m getting right now.

Sides: No issues with food noise, but I am wide awake after about 4 hours of sleep 🫨

I too am honestly blown away by how well this works.

Adding workouts seems to take it to another level. I’ve definitely been guilty of turning my home gym into a second job, but like you said, settling into a sustainable 3–4 day per week routine feels like the right move.

Appreciate you sharing. I’m still an excited newbie here trying to soak it all in.

Best of luck to you, and looking forward to seeing how your journey progresses!

Heck yeah!

I’m right there with you. And likewise!

Sorry to hear sleep is not consistent, I have not experienced that, but it’s hard to gauge because I really have been a terrible sleeper my whole life and that pattern hasn’t changed while on Reta. I struggle to fall asleep, but once I’m out, I’m out.

(I am new to GLPs too, not new to fitness and nutrition regimes, have a bit more to offer there.)

I’ll keep an eye out for any feedback you have once you get into the 6-8mg range. Maybe I’ll rethink my approach.

Cheers

I'm about 5'10 so if I can manage lower I'll take it.

On a low tirz dose for about a month and a half, good initial pace but I know it'll slow down soon enough.
Been curious about reta, but still having good effect from tirz at a low dose, so thinking I'll stick with it for as long as I see decent progress.
