Hello, RUDE.If you truly do this, you are a total moron.
Hello, RUDE.If you truly do this, you are a total moron.
That's where the problem lies in those words. mitigating risk, what risk? Do you people even have a slight capacity to think? He said he draws with a different needle then uses a different one to pin? How on the green earth does that even makes sense. I can't even call that paranoid, so it has to be called for what it is totally dumb and stupid. You're calling someone a moron for using an abundance of caution and mitigating risk? I suspect you are trolling to start drama.
I hear you but think about it the guy draws from the vial and somehow thinks that if he then changes the needle and uses a new needle that is a safer way, which in fact adds another layer and another possible way to contaminate or come in contact with contaminants. No other way to call it than dumb.Hello, RUDE.
Well, there is an even cheaper sure-fire tool, it's called an alcohol wipe more like one penny a piece. I've been doing it this way for over three years now and have ZERO intention of changing my way.In the US there are about 350,000 deaths per year from sepsis and the majority are from bacterial infections.
There's a surefire 15¢ prevention tool...a new syringe.
I decided to be cheap once and buy inexpensive needles from Amazon; not BD lok-luer.Saw this and thought of you, but you do you- it’s your body in the end!
Here is Vancouver the size of a alcohol wipe is the same as a nickel. What happened to the ones that you can unfold ?Well, there is an even cheaper sure-fire tool, it's called an alcohol wipe more like one penny a piece. Using a new needle in this instance would be more to assure you have the sharpest needle for injection into your RS. If good sterile technique was used, there is very little contamination risk; but there is also nothing wrong with an abundance of caution. If you truly do this, you are a total moron.

I've posted that here. Easy Tough or BD for me. There's one more good one I hear.I decided to be cheap once and buy inexpensive needles from Amazon; not BD lok-luer.
It couldn't even pierce my skin !!
He's only changing the needle because he thinks the rubber stopper is dulling the syringe, well it's not. I can't even feel the 31g 8mm needle. I had tossed his idea area around for a little, then moved on from this thought.you do realize that alcohol won't kill all the bacteria, right?
and changing needles is just adding more safety, not less, unlike what you are doing?
Next thing we're gonna hear is that the alcohol wipes do kill all the bacteria, because you can't see any bacteria on your needle?
This guy is my new favorite poster on this forum! If you truly do this, you are a total moron.
This. Alcohol sanitises, it doesn’t sterilise.you do realize that alcohol won't kill all the bacteria, right?

Sorry again lying like there is no tomorrow. I've always bought needles from amazon from few sellers and all of them are totally fine for at least few pinning, unless your skin is that of wild boar LOLI decided to be cheap once and buy inexpensive needles from Amazon; not BD lok-luer.

So, you are with me 100% but I'm still a tool? Do you even hear yourself dude. while you might also be a bozo like many in these boards but at least you had enough common sense to realize that my way is the best way. Thank you, case closed! This guy is my new favorite poster on this forum!
I do have to say, in his defense, I was talking to a nurse with over 30 yrs experience who said I was being wasteful in putting a fresh needle on my pep-pen before every injection. According to her, "nobody" in the diabetic area of healthcare does that. Slap a needle on, use it till the pen is dead, pitch it, and grab another pen and needle.
Further to that end, this morning I noticed when pricing cartridges on a diabetic supplies website, their "package" deal was 10 carts, and, surprise, 10 needles.
Maybe this guy is on to something?
Still a tool, though.
I posted before that Amazon needles felt like knitting needles. I didn't care for them, and my wife hated them, and doesn't have Wild Boar skin. They were 30g 8mm. Maybe you're buying a different brand that I had. I only bought 30 to try. I have them in a bin for use on something someday.Sorry again lying like there is no tomorrow. More like hung jury, but close enough!Thank you, case closed!
It's a lot smarter than using the same syringe for each peptide and reusing a syringe. You do you, buddy.I hear you but think about it the guy draws from the vial and somehow thinks that if he then changes the needle and uses a new needle that is a safer way, which in fact adds another layer and another possible way to contaminate or come in contact with contaminants. I am very sensitive and have thin skin .....j/k 🤣Sorry again lying like there is no tomorrow. I've always bought needles from amazon from few sellers and all of them are totally fine for at least few pinning, unless your skin is that of wild boar LOL
My apologizes...Let's blame it on a momentary lapse of insanity (or old age)..😉I even use a different needle to draw and change it for the injection.
And it's always BD Luer-Lok.
Smaller sample size over 30 years. In all those 30 years, I have seen one bad infection (it was friend and it did require antibiotics) (one day he had pants on, and we were like, is your ass bleeding). 30 years ago where I was from, it was hard to get 22-23 garage needles, so we would reuse those damn 22 garage needles (like sticking a pencil in your glute after a few). The dude that got an infection, super clean routine. Alcohol pad, wipe vial before and after, etc. You can be safe but seems like infections are somewhat random and very rare. Using the same draw needle can’t meaningful impact that chance. But I do hate when I don’t hit the rubber vial part right and have to jab a less sharp needle in my belly. This guy is my new favorite poster on this forum!

I have nothing to add about how stupid this idea is. I just curse you for reviving this zombie thread and making me read it. It was truly torture.Update: Despite all the push back from you guys I have continued and still continue to do the same exact thing. One needle for several peptides for few days till it gets dull. Never had any reaction, not even a little redness and no infections and no other adverse conditions whatsoever to report. BTW, don't know if @ostrichsak (and others who were concerned I'll die if I keep doing same thing) are still around but thought it to be important to give an update.
Cheap needles will 100% bend.... But my state sucks about needles, so I do end up with a lot of cheapies.this is the biggest bunch of crap (I'm talking about the pic you posted). The needle tip would much rather snap then bend. BS, the tip does get dull though and no it does not bend.
The stopper absolutely can dull a needle.... It's why I switched to pens. Poking myself doesn't dull a pen, but a regular needle into the stopper is definitely noticable.I've posted that here. Easy Tough or BD for me. There's one more good one I hear.

I bend needles all the time! Even against my skin. EasyTouch 31ga 8mm. Dunno if it's the GHK-Cu working or what.Cheap needles will 100% bend....
Looks like he's banned.Hello, RUDE.
Wow. I wonder which comment did it.Looks like he's banned.
That's some great - dare I say perfect? - moderating right there.
