Rare occasion we agree. I agree. Been on Meso 10 years and only dealers got pinched for even steroids. Individuals received customs seizure letters for 1500 worth of shit and more, basically saying if you dispute the seizure, come discuss it.... Noone staked out the address or post office. Noones dedicating assets, surveillance and door kickers to waste 30k taxpayer money for a 50 vial test cyp bust....

United Kingdom – Antoine Christopher Kolias – convicted for importing and selling unlicensed medicines (including peptide‑type products such as sildenafil‑based “natural remedies”) to customers in the UK. He was sentenced to 3½ years in Southwark Crown Court after UK Border Force seized parcels containing thousands of doses that originated in China and other Far‑East sources.

International – Operation Pangea XVII (global bust) – an INTERPOL‑coordinated sweep that resulted in 769 arrests across 90 countries and the seizure of millions of doses of unapproved peptide‑based products (e.g., BPC‑157, ipamorelin, melanotan). The operation targeted criminal networks that imported the substances from China for resale, but individual court judgments have been issued only at the national level; no single foreign jurisdiction has published a public court opinion that focuses solely on a private buyer’s conviction.

They will have to prove that you actually imported a medical product, that is, a biologically active substance. And identify what that substance is.

There is no simple, standard test that can unambiguously identify reta or tirz. The HPLC-UV and MS à la Janoshik are not enough. There are more than 10³⁵ possible permutations of the sequence. More advanced analytical techniques are required, which will take weeks or months and cost tens of thousands of dollars.

No customs agency is going to do that when all they have to do is throw the package away or send it back. Only the lab might be interested in taking legal action against a major retailer.

Here is the source for the interpol arrests. One person in Singapore had only bought and not resold, but was a minor so I can't find the details.

No part of the law you cited prohibits purchase or possession for personal use. It requires a script to sell, not to purchase.

Maybe they could get you on mail fraud for ticking the “research only” box, but you still haven’t shown any criminal liability for purchasers and personal users.

State laws may differ. But unless it’s a controlled substance, I’m skeptical.

I drive down to south of the border frequently and buy fda items and declare them at the border without issue all the time. These two fools are trying to scare folks, which is absolute nonsense and does not serve this community.
 
Importing or possessing nearly all of the peptides to or in Australia is illegal, without a prescription, and import permit. Most of them are scheduled drugs even the ones not released yet but are all schedule 4 so standard drug rules rather than drugs of addiction type rules. Things like dermorphin are not scheduled, but as they are opiates it would be illegal anyway.

People do get prosecuted here but as far as I know only if doing something commercial, like selling them or providing them via a clinic without the correct paperwork. But they could prosecute individuals importing them if they could be bothered or thought it worthwhile, so too many scare stories in the news could motivate them to enforce the existing laws rather than just confiscate them at customs.

Information about law inforcement is correct. But practising it is not so easy. They should sure apply the law if it was possible. But customs don't have enough staff, possibilities to check all packages or follow everyone who has placed a small order. I am a sub contractor of UPS and 2 or 3 days a week, see 1 or 2 customs officers, during a few hours at a distribution center with a maximum daily volume of 500K packages. How many packages can 2 officers check during 2-3 hours do you think? If they occasionaly catch a small package, it will only be lost without any consequences. If it is too big for a personal order, it will be handed to Police department and starts an investigation. There is a continous flow through air, sea and land transport through customs. Use just your imagination about the possibilities. Customs even don't see most of the packages when you see notification of "held for customs clearance" at your tracking tool. Package is still at a warehouse of the carrier waiting for delivery confirmation from customs, which happens on computers. Only packages without clarification or suspect(drugs related) are being being checked by customs officers at that location. Bigger loads are mostly being carried by sea containers.

I see, you only care about your location, a population of about 342 million and not the rest of the world where the other 7.96 billion people live. Fracking Americans (I'm one of those too.) I used your advise for those numbers but don't use ChatGPT because it lies. I've caught it many times. I have better options.

I'm done, but people from 90 different countires (not US) were arrested, some just for buying but I'm not going to research this anymore, I was just taking a break from canning pickled asparagus, 40 lbs worth. Have to get back to it. Pisses me off that they don't break off the inedible bottom parts before weighing it.

I'm watching "Border Security: Australias Front Line" right now, I had no idea they were still making new episodes. I travel there all the time and like to keep up on this stuff so I don't make any mistakes. I saw someone get fined for not ticking the box for medications on their customs form. They just had standard pills, they didn't identify them (the pills). They could have been refused entry but got off with a fine and warning.

It's because I was afraid they would do a 'controlled delivery' and the local sheriff's office would seize it and label it as black tar heroin. The same guys who seized all my tomato plants and posted it in the local paper as $140 million dollars in Marijuana seizure. You can't be too careful.
