I initially switched from once a week dosing to twice a week to minimize some of the side effects i was enduring, that initially worked, weight loss continued but as i continued increasing my dose i'm now in a plateau (same weight for 4 weeks, not sure if it's tecnically a plateau) and i'm wondering if anyone has switched back from twice a week to once a week dosing.

I'm always rethinking my weekly split dose...It works ok, but I do remember the bigger pin having a larger suppression for 5-6 days...I may go to a single dose, 5-6 day and run with that instead...

I am a big proponent of weekly injections. I know some people do fine splitting, but I find a weekly injection more stabilizing than splitting. For some it is counterintuitive, but hear me out. While it seems like weekly dosing is less stable because it causes higher spikes, split dosing causes more frequent spikes. Your body is more frequently in an intake mode.

Anecdotally, I feel more stable and I lose most of my weight toward the end of the weekly cycle.

I'm wondering this too, might unsplit my doses but also wondering if suddenly taking them both at once will hit too hard.

I used splitting just when I increase the dose for a while (to minimize side effects), and switched back to once weekly in between. But got fed up with it and returned to splitting. Side effects basically gone. No plan to return again at the moment.

I'll stick with once a week, on Friday morning. On 9mg now.
I doubt bi-weekly vs weekly makes a big difference with weight loss, side effects yes.
A couple questions @phoenixx7.
What's your current dose, and how long have you been on it?

I did try splitting early on my journey but saw no benefits. I now pin glp's every 6 days. Best for food noise and more consistent weight loss.

A lot of people have jumped on the twice a week bandwagon but I'm not a fan. Part of the theory behind weekly is that it is less likely/slower to trigger tolerance and the need increases doeses. There haven't been studies on this, but the mechanism makes sense.

You say you have stalled but you didn't say anything about calories. The med is supposed to make it easier to control intake and reduce calories, not do the work for you. You don't mention a decrease in effect so that makes me think you are relying on the med to do the work.

If you are in a calorie deficit you will not plateau for long so it seems like you are not in a deficit. Track calories and focus on decreasing your intake and only increase dose if you are struggling with hunger and food nosie.

1178.webp2mg every three days for me. I cut the half life in half.

I started 5/26. First couple of weeks I did 1mg every three days. Did another week and a half at 1.5 every three days, then moved to 2 starting 6/15, still every three days. I'm happy here. No plans to titrate up any time soon.

Steady weight loss over the month I've been on it. Peak and trough variation is pretty small at my schedule.

I did add in 250mcg cagrilintide a couple weeks ago for additional appetite suppression. Not even sure I need it at this point.

It took a few weeks to build up a blood concentration of reta high enough to "feel" it.

The app is regimen for anybody curious. I love it. tracks multiple peps and my TRT simultaneously, as well as logging and tracking trends in symptoms.

Currently on 6mg a week split 3mg on Sunday and 3mg on Thursday. Have been on it since March 27th and on this specific dose for a month on Sunday.

After reading other's experience i might go back to the standard clinical trial titration schedule and do weekly 6mg pin first and see if i need going up since I'd technically be on this dose for 4 weeks now.

In terms on calories i have always counted calories when doing traditional diets without RT and i start counting again when i see progress plateau to make sure i haven't drifted off. Currently aiming for 2100 cals a day (184cm/ ≈6'1 ft'in, 109kg/240.304lbs). Exercise has gone down a bit cause of an injury but still doing at home exercises and PT work (Since solely on calories i should still be in a deficit I didn't think this would be an issue).

As for intended effects, hunger and food noise has increased but still more suppression from not being on RT but less than for example 4mg (2mg/2mg) a month and a half ago.

Ah, it always delights me to see least-squares linearization. Finally, someone who isn't just focused on details. Thanks 🙂
The target is 1% reduction week over week. Starting TRT and creatine were my two main deviations. TRT was transient, creatine was confounding on DEXA vs scale so it was discontinued.
