QSC Black Friday Promo

I'm still waiting for them to confirm a payment I sent over a week ago via bank wire. Getting pretty nervous at this point that I'm out $450 bucks and my order won't ever arrive.

Only bought from QSC because people were so reassuring that QSC does not/will not screw over customers, but it has been 8 days since I sent the money and nada. I finally sent a bunch of proofs yesterday showing that they did, in fact, receive it, but I really don't understand why the onus is on me to continuously follow up about a 400+ payment that was very clearly labeled when I originally sent it.

Really doesn't help things that because of the time difference, I basically get one message a day with them.

They don’t confirm pymt received, and Tracy has said before it wastes time going back and forth. If you did a bank transfer sometimes those are delayed, so sending a screenshot once it goes through is a good idea.

They don't do that typically.. so you're just getting ignored. If it's been 8 days, you should have asked for the tracking number instead.

You should have been given tracking. This is their customer service email tracy@sigmachemical.com.cn

They’re inundated with orders so may not get back to you right away, but the most likely way to get a response. Tracy’s who answers them

Eta- I’ve had domestic take about a week recently and int’l 2-3. You’ll need to use a universal tracking system to see yours

You'll be fine. There's like dozens of threads on here of people being getting angsty about their lack of comms, before successfully receiving the product - also people finally getting their tracking numbers, days after receiving their parcels.

Also Tuk doing 2 x T30 for $350, including postage... what a time to be alive.

Ha! I saw that. And now have buyer's remorse for the stockpiling I've already done and FOMO thinking I better do THAT deal, too, lol. Never mind that I appear to have literally 2-3 years worth at this point. Gotta collect them all!

And again, thanks for the reassurance. I read so much before I bought from them, but no amount of rational thought will stop my brain from getting antsy about it, so it helps to hear from people that they really are reliable, albeit slow and possibly terrible at communicating. 🙂

QSC's BOH can't keep up with FOH. Like watching my dachshund try to run fast... It eventually turns into a somersault when her back legs can't keep up with her front.

I don't bother them, don't even ask for tracking. I pay, send transaction hash and confirm address when they email me. I don't ask "Irene" or "Bella" Confucius Questions. And I assume I'm getting nothing in return, including potentially the product! I can order right now and get a rapid fire response but crickets on last week's email about an older order or payment confirmation.

QSC will post a great domestic promo, receive your payment then inform you it's sold out BUT if you pay shipping ($35+) they'll honor the price with China inventory or you can add more items to reach CN MOQ. Bait and switch.

Paying QSC is like handing an envelope of cash to a cab driver at 3AM and asking him to take it to the dude at the payphone at the 7 Eleven in the bad part of town. And the dude at the 7 Eleven has no intention of letting you know he got the cash or doing anything in return.

With all the uncertainty, lack of communication or assurance of a "good time" QSC makes me feel like a dirty hooker that should be pacing in front of that 7 Eleven. I'm not really saving anything being cheap and feeling cheap (and QSC will be the first to call us dog sh*t) Now that I have a freezer full I can hook in better neighborhoods.

Opposite of what? Sounds like you paid $$ for $ (or got screwed on shipping?) More likely your tracking started when your order hit US soil.

I've paid for international promo, but got my product delivered from the US in less than a week from the order date. It had US warehouse SKUs on the boxes. US warehouse prices are a bit higher, but I guess this it offered some logistical benefits for QSC to do it this way instead. I got my product, so I am not complaining.

From a business perspective, letting merchandise sit at a warehouse while waiting for something is non-productive and costly.

Just storage costs a certain amount of money, but worse, there's a lot of money that was spent on procuring that merchandise, money that is likely borrowed and losing interest, but even if it isn't borrowed, it is money that is expected to return even more money.

A business would like to turn over merchandise as many times as possible in a given year, because every turnover is profit.

The math is quite likely that what ever losses happen due to customers receiving items that turn out to have bad tests, and having reshipments and reputation loss, is far outweighed by the gains of having inventory turn over more times than it otherwise would.

Except I want my car crash tested before they sell it to me and my anti rejection drugs proven before my organ dies. We're talking about injectable medications, not a warehouse of vacuum cleaners. A test result takes less time than shipping.

What you want is fine, and you'll wait for it, but you are clearly in the minority, as proven by the huge huge rush to buy QSC's BF deals.

QSC might not be the right vendor for people with those requirements. Or potentially any of the Chinese vendors.

It costs them money to house the product. Increases in cost to them are going to result in increases in cost to consumers.

When a vendor has the process down, they have a lot more confidence in the product so they can put it on market before the test results come in.. I am afraid that equating Jano's test with a car crash test is a bit of a stretch.. Jano's test is more like checking if the headlights work..

If the result Tracy posted is actually the "Black Friday Promo X" that you will be receiving the timing is expedient but still not necessarily representative of what you'll be receiving (purple caps don't turn green in transit). Personally I have doubts they've shipped anything from the most recent promo and are still playing catch up from previous ones. I still haven't heard anything on Nov promo #4 (T15 $95+10 pd 11/7 before the sellout) I also have a September order I've been waiting weeks for an email response.

They shipped my BF already (promptly) and it's already on the move in China.. if you have some delayed stuff, it's specific to items you ordered and not a wholesale delay in shipping..
